Never seen this place before so we decided to check it out. I was surprised to see they had a full bar and make boozy shakes. You have to ordered from a counter and sit down with a number. However, if you sit at the bar you can order food directly from the bar tender. She was super busy but still took care of us. Watching her make those boozy drinks reminded me of being a kid and putting candy in milk shakes. Looked fun but probably gets annoying and messy. Normally I wouldn't try an old fashioned off the cocktail menu at a burger/sandwich joint. I'm a little particular but I was intrigued by the choice of Redemption high rye, it told me they might know what they were doing. When the drink showed up with a globe cube and a non muddled luxardo cherry I was relieved. Tasting the boozy concoction I was delighted, they aren't hard to make but man a lot of places will get it wrong. So it was a solid old fashioned. We got the chips and queso and they were just ok. The chips are kinda mealy if that makes any sense and the cheese had a weird texture. It was good and spicy but we weren't blown away and probably wouldn't get it again. I had the OG chicken sandwich as did my wife but I got my Cajun. The jalapeño ranch mixed with those Cajun spices and the breading was very good. The chicken wasn't a thick piece but it was thick enough, tender and moist. I guess they brine it first and I hear that's the trick to chic-fil-a's chicken so makes sense. My wife got their fries and they are the skinny bois but maybe have some batter on them. Really very good and with the jalapeño ranch even better. We'll be back for sure.

I do love this place very much. Delicious food and great service. I had the ahi tuna burger bowl. It was outstanding. I would get that every single time. On my second visit, I got a beef burger bowl to try, and that was not nearly as good as the ahi. The beef burger patty was very small and dry, and they did not add hardly any toppings or sauces. If you're getting a bowl, you want it to have those sauces and toppings to enjoy with all of that lettuce. I was very letdown by that after having such a great experience with the ahi bowl. Now I know to only order the ahi. Please, fix the issue with the bowls not having nearly enough of the toppings and sauces. From someone who has to be very carful with the amount of bread they consume, I look for things like bowls to be as exciting and delicious! As for their fries, home run. The sweet potato fries with the hot honey sage are simply out of this world. They are so flavorful and satisfying. My husband got the loaded fries as well as the Cadillac burger, which he loves so much. I did try a small bite of his burger, and that beef was so juicy and tender. The opposite of the beef burger in my bowl 🥲 We got our daughters some mini milkshakes. We got strawberry for the youngest, which she loved. My oldest was ranting and raving about hers. She got the Nutella pretzel shake, and she said it tasted exactly like a Ferrero Rocher! How could that be bad?! Overall, my family really loves this place, and we will continue to come back and direct others to come give it try as well. Thank you very much!

Since Grub opened at the Town Center, it quickly became a personal staple. The menu offers a colorful selection of delicious burgers and sandwiches from the Southern Friend Chicken Club to the Mac'n'Cheeseburger. But don't let the name fool you, as they also have delicious chicken, fish, turkey, and veggie sandwich and salad offerings for your or gluten free and vegetarian friends. Even while considering this is a "gourmet" burger joint, the quality and flavor is well above what you'd typically expect, and the portions are impressive for the price. The beef is perfectly seasoned, the chicken is tender and juicy, and the buns, baked fresh in house, are soft and fluffy with a golden crust. As for sides, you can make your selection from crispy shoe string, sweet potato fries, or onion rings, and if you're a sauce lover like me you'll find yourself juggling a cup of all four flavors back to your table. Even for a gourmet burger spot, the atmosphere and decor are definitely hip and modern, while still comfortable and sociable. A nice wrap around bar adorned with TVs offers a good place for professionals and students in the area to come relax with a beer or a spiked shake. But the restaurant still feels quite family friendly, and the service is fast, friendly, and inviting. If you're at the Town Center and looking for a cool place with delicious food that can cater to you and your friends various tastes and diets without breaking the bank, Grub is the perfect spot.

I was craving for a burger last night and heard great reviews for the new Hop doddy burger place at town center. it's bad when I crave for something because I will go for it and want it! so my husband did not have a choice but to drive 45 minutes from our house to Town center in the midst of rush hour and sadly our experience was not as great as the others. we've been to grub burger but not hopdoddy and we were not sure if it's the same concept on ordering the food and it was, you go to the counter and order your food, so off we went to the counter and we were looking at the menu and we noticed that nobody was at the counter, then while we were looking at the menu the girl went to the cashier tapping the screen without even saying anything to us, no Hello! how are you? are you ready to order? NOTHING! she stared at us thinking we can read her mind. but we were hungry so we just sucked up the bad customer service. since I was hungry we ordered the truffle brussels sprout, brussels fries, the farmhouse burger i think is the name, cookies and cream milkshake and the chicken sandwich, sadly everything was just okay, I was very disappointed. fries and brussels sprouts came cold, fries was not even seasoned with salt or pepper . My burger was okay, the bread was hard and ate half of it.

do we want to go back here again and give them a try? YES, and the reason why is the management reach out to me after I put in our experience and it was a very quick response which I applaud them for that and it shows that they do care on their customer's experience.

as much as I don't want to leave a bad review sadly this has to be done and management needs to know. I just hope that our next visit will be good but I know for sure I am not expecting a lot from this place after last night. that first impression sure does...

Keep in mind that the high ratings that it shows are mainly old reviews from when this place was called "Grub." Grub was pretty good so I decided to give Hopdoddy a shot. First off, you can't pay cash. Even though it's legal tender in the US, they refuse to accept it. Next, the prices are outrageous and then they have the audacity to try and guilt you into giving them a tip on top of that. Next, the burger choices are weird. I don't need a bacon and tomato Jam on my burger. Every option had these weird things on them. Because of the weird burger choices, I was recommended to get the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. I love Nashville Hot flavored stuff. This was pretty much as far away from that as you could get. This was a generic chicken sandwich with a sauce to spice it up a little. Certainly not Nashville Flavoring. I understand it's a burger joint and I didn't order a burger, but the cashier recommended it to me saying it was "really good." While the girl at the register was nice, I had to ask another worker for ice because BOTH machines didn't have any. He never spoke a word to me. He proceeded to look in both machines when I told him they were out (as if he didn't believe me) then went in the back and came out with a bucket of ice to dump in there after about 5 minutes. When I thanked him for it, he still never spoke a word to me. I waited around 15 minutes for my food when the restaurant was practically empty. This was my first and last time visiting here, and you'll have a much better experience going somewhere like Red Robin. So that should tell you something about...
