The room I was given had a terrible odor. Maybe mold/mildew? The room was not cleaned, specifically the bathroom. There is mold on the ceiling and the toilet had someone’s #1 & #2 business still in it! I asked if they could switch rooms and was told to reach out in the morning to ask a supervisor to change it. Note, I checked in late (maybe 3 am) due to me moving all of my stuff out of my old home and becoming homeless. I woke up a little after 11 am and they told me they would not change the room. I couldn't handle the smell, so I reached out to the booking agency to help me get checked out. I was told I had to leave by 1 pm. I got everything out but asked if it was ok to wait until I could be in the lobby to figure things out and get my ride situated. I was first told that was ok. I then saw someone that I know from a previous job who asked me why was I sitting in the rain and offered to allow me to sit in their room until I got my things together. Not too long afterward, they came to the door (a tall white guy and a Spanish woman with pink hair and face tats), stating that I had to leave. When asked why, they stated it was because I didn't know them and was not a registered guest. How in the world do you know who I know and how I know them? They then stereotyped the gentlemen calling them “crazy Mexicans” when they are Honduran. They then forced me to sit in the rain, no remorse, no type of heart, with all of my things getting soaked. As I tried to speak with them (and the manager) calmly and eloquently once we moved to the lobby, they continued to talk over me, not allowing me to get any full sentences out and just treated me like a wild animal. The one with the pink hair and face tats then threatened to call the police on me. Who would have known that a request to switch rooms would have turned into me getting kicked out in the rain with all of my stuff, treated terribly, & getting called all different types of derogatory things? First day of being homeless- 0 out of 5 stars, would not recommend it! I took pictures and videos and I will be reaching out to corporate.

This property has: rusted stoves and fans that are improperly connected, rusted tub fixtures, poorly connected fire alarms, roaches and is loud. The staff has no consideration that people are sleeping in their property and will stand outside the window, loudly talking. The following is after checking out from this motel. The staff moved me from the room that these photos were taken to a room with an updated stovetop face (the burners we're not replaced) the room did not have a tv remote, the fire alarm did not have power to it ( either the batteries were removed or had died I did not disconnect to investigate) and exposed light bulbs. The staff was curious, and exemplary in their efficiency for the remainder of my stay, but had far too many tasks for the small amount of staff on the property. The rooms do not look as well kept as in the photos advertised. The other guests were courteous and patient while reporting complaints regarding problems with their rooms. The staff is fatigued from having to run around, making up for the poor condition of rooms. One note regarding billing; when switching rooms, I was charged for the second room on the card given for incidentals, not the corporate card the reservation was made. The erroneous charge was immediately reported to Extended Stay America Guest Services and was told, in 10 days, I will get my refund. If you stay and book with a corporate account but traditionally use a personal credit or debit card for incidentals, beware of this mistake. I was told by another person familiar with this property that it happens frequently.

This is definitely not a place you want to stay. Came into the lobby with the manager arguing with a customer and he kept on telling the customer over and over and over I'm the general manager, like he was saying I'm the king. I should have bailed on the place right then but I had an appointment later did it already paid for this place online. Online description says Room with a View which is a lie. Unless you like to view the front of somebody else's car. I went to my appointment and came back to discover somebody had spilled something on the kitchen floor and apparently the sticky disgusting feeling went all the way into the bathroom. I proceeded to wet it down and wipe it up because my feet were sticking like it was an old movie theater. That's when I discovered all the dirt. Towel I used looked like a shop rag when I was done. Apparently they had not mopped the floor in a long long long time. I then discovered an even worse site. I pulled back the shower curtain and saw the mold all over the place. This place is disgusting. Oh and manager told me, when I was checking in, that if I wanted to stay an extra day there was an early check-in fee of $25. While I was checking out a desk clerk was telling another man it would be $30. Glad at least I had paid for it online. But will check credit card to make sure, because it also feel like one of those discount airlines that want to charge you for a carry on.

This was the worst hotel I have had to stay in ever. I booked the hotel via Hotwire as I had previously used the site and got amazing prices on wonderful rooms (in Jacksonville for the same weekend event) over the past few years. However, this was a huge MISTAKE. Getting a different hotel would have been too much of a hassle for a busy festival weekend. Upon realizing that we were going to make it closer to midnight than 8 or 9 as expected without traffic (driving up from South Florida), we attempted to call the hotel to inform them that we were on the road but needed late check in. First, the phone rang with no answer. We called back again, to have the phone picked up and immediately hung up. The third time we called, we got someone on the phone (they did not give a name). They were very short with us and sounded annoyed that we needed late check in stating "you have to be here before 2am or you can't check in." Okay, not so bad, sure, it could have been said in a much more professional, less annoyed tone of voice, but I understand that hotels have policies that people must abide by. Fast forward to midnight. We arrive to the hotel. At first glance, in the darkness of night, it doesn't look too bad. We walk up to the door of the office to check in and it's locked. There is a phone near the door to call the desk after hours, however, it's broken so we knocked on the glass door instead. We were let in by the man working the front desk. Upon checking in we are informed that our room is a smoking room with a queen size bed. Not a huge fan of smoking rooms, but at least we had a queen sized bed and it was way too late to try to switch rooms so we take the key and drive over the our room in the back of that complex. We walk in and the room reeks of smoke, which the staff attempted to cover up with 99 cent gas station car air fresheners shoved in the wall unit air conditioner. The bed was NOT a queen size. I am a pretty small person all around, but my boyfriend is a big guy, and we have a queen size bed at home. This bed was MAYBE a full size. The two of us barely fit on it. Not to mention that it was like sleeping on concrete, with the stiffest, itchiest sheets imaginable. The room looked like it was falling apart. The knobs on all the furniture were missing and overall, the condition of the furniture was old and dirty. I thought we could grin and bare the conditions but it kept getting worse. Come to find out, house keeping (if you can call it that) had not given us any toilet paper or wash clothes (we had one towel). In the morning before we left the room for the day we spotted house keeping and asked for some towels, wash clothes, and toilet paper. The lady literally just stared at us like we were the biggest inconvenience she had come across in her job and we had to just grab them off of her cart while she stared at us and put them in the room as we left. Now getting to the bathroom. It was surprisingly clean compared to the rest of the room but after a 12 hour day in the sun and dust at Metropolitan Park, crushed up against a million other people's sweaty bodies all you want to do is take a long bath, right? HA! Talk about NO water pressure. And I really mean NONE because the morning we left we could not even shower as the water would not turn on. We got the faucet to barely drip... How can they have NO WATER? I was SO happy to leave my vacation for the simple fact that I needed to be in a clean bed somewhere with running water. When we checked out, I was terrified I would get charged for late check out because all the girl at the front desk did was write our room number (no names or any other information) on a piece of loose printer paper. Luckily this did not happen...but come on.... I guess I learned my lesson about Hotwire... sometimes you get a REALLY nice room, other times you get this pile of dog crap of a room for the same price. Oh, and Hotwire deleted my review so I will be posting it in several other places to save people the trouble of staying in this god...

If I could give NO stars I would. Let me start off by telling you. If you're seeing this review, for the love of GOD, do not stay here. Please. I am doing you a favor. Let me tell you guys about MY stay. My house had plumming issues so we stayed here for a week. When we first entered the room had the foulest odor I've ever smelled. We sprayed scented perfume and then we go in the bathroom it was grotesque. There were DOG hairs in the tub and it smelled like hot animal. So we asked to get switched they switched me and 3 other people to a one bedoom room. We then asked to get switched again and they said no, and thathe we'd have to pay for a whole new room. So we called hot wire and got switched. We get in the room, and it seems ok. I go to set my food down on the table there is ANTS everywhere. Literally. Ants in your bed, ants on the wall, ants on the counter, ants in the sink. I mean it's millions of them. Then they have ROACHES. I was laying in the bed and a roach casually walked past, roaches were every where. So in between battling off roaches and ants, and sometimes at night moths that got ib, it had the nerve to be a lizard in my room one late night. I tried to catch it, it ran out the room through a hole in the AC. I'm sure that's just the first one I had happened to see. The bottom of the tub is chewed up brutally it doesn't even look fit for a pig to bath in. I went out and brought cleaning supplies and cloriz wipes to try and keep the bugs away and make my weeks stay worth it, but they are INFESTED. Day 2: I'm sleeping, the fire alarm goes off. I jump up at the speed of lighting go outside and I see nothing. Go back inside nobody picks up. Then some men are knocking on my door, came in and checked my detector. Besides that the power is going in and out. I came outside and found maggots on the roof of my car, and I told them I think it fell out of the trees they have uo, and they told me to go drive on the highway and don't worry about it. This old creepy man works there, he told me I was having a bad hair day, asked it it was my real hair, then used profanity in a conversational way. He was at my door too asking if he could don a sound test, I was there alone at the time, but I don't trust him. Hes weird. This girl who works there with this stiff weaved bob is rude. They watch you like a hawk at breakfast with their dollar coffee and family Dollar food, and my grandmother called me, and I guess because it was a out of town number they charged 30$ to my bill. Towels are like gold here. You have to walk outside or drive way up to the front just to drop them off, housekeeping doesnt guve towels they onky use them for rooms that theyre cleaning. They clean once a week, and i had a housekeeper come on my last day she banged on my door and when i said yes "she said never mind, blank blank dont have to get smart, then began to talk bad about me with another co worker. I heard everything she said through the paper thin walls. There is prostitutes out here i heard screams at 3am, i looked out the window it was a woman and some guys and they were arguing about something sounded like a shoot out ready to happen. They don't want to give you towels and housekeeping never comes. Please. Save your money. I am itching when I think about it. Oh yes and there was blood on my towel and blood in my sheets the blood was brown but it was blood. I threw them out. I also got a rash on my face it was hives and I don't know what caused it but I think I...

There's a hidden $100 deposit that they don't tell you about till after you reserved and paid for the room the staff there are very rude and unprofessional. There's also an extra $150 fine if you are accused of smoking in the room whether you smoked or not and you will be charged. And do not pay for a second night until they have inspected your room after the first night because if they accuse you of smoking in the room you will be told to leave so you lose your money you paid for the room that night. So you'll be paying $100 deposit they will keep and $150 on top of that and will be told you have 10 minutes to leave and forfeit your night's paid reservation and you will not be allowed to stay there again and this is all according to their accusations of someone smoking in the room whether they did or didn't it's up to their judgment. Very shady business from the management going down to the employees. I can't emphasize enough how rude and unprofessional one of the employees in particular was. I could give her name but she wouldn't give it to me who are the managers name and when I asked for a corporate number she told me to look it up. She conducted and aired my business right in the parking lot in front of the room and all the guests there. And personally verbally attacking a family member with insults of them not having any money when they were the one who paid for the room. Then as I'm speaking her and the other employee with her turn and walk away while I'm still talking. She also got very annoyed with any questions that I asked her. My first experience with the rudeness there is when I went into the office to check in and the manager coming in asked me if that's my car parked outside and I said yes then she asks is that person sitting in the car staying in the room as if to say right off the top that I'm lying cheating trying to rip them off for an extra person in the room and the fact is that I rented the room for two occupants and only one person was going to stay there. So even if they didn't tell me I couldn't stay there again believe me I wouldn't and won't. It's not like it's some nice hotel I think they're rated a two-star and that's stretching it a bit. I've read reviews of some saying that they have roaches and bed bugs and others saying they've had similar experiences as mine with the deposits and fines and hidden fees and getting thrown out and keeping your money, complaints of maintenance and nosy and noisy neighbors. In my opinion they need to either do a complete staff turnover or shut the...
