This was my first raman shop and I was excited to try it with my friends. I went at the end of April. It was busy, but we were seated almost immediately. The service was molasses slow, and I'm patient, but I'm pretty sure our waiter straight up forgot about us as he chatted with other tables for over 20 minutes. That was fine-we came to taste the food and we were catching up. Lots of time to kill. After a half hour of sitting we get our orders in and wait a bit for our food. We decided to try the wings because it was praised as "the best wings in town." They were good. Not the worst but definitely not the best. Korean bbq wings still beat them. These seemed to lack the crunch I was looking for, BUT they tasted good as wings go. Although it was advertised as the best, so that's what I was expecting. It just feels like server marketing at this point. So most of the experience I didn't even see the waiter. He would show up once in awhile with his advertisment of how great the food was here- then promptly disappear. I didn't get a drink refill or find him to ask for more water once I was in the middle of my food. The raman, also, lacked flavor. The others agreed. It wasn't terrible-but it just tasted watered down. I even paid extra for additives (such as corn- nope, it didn't come with it). Although, I wasn't in a bad mood because I was with my friends and I came to see them. I was just disappointed. What really made me decide to review was the fact my friend ordered a Thai tea the same time we all ordered our drinks. The waiter said it will be a bit of a wait. Which was fine. Twenty minutes later we ask again, and he said, "were busy make it." Ok, that's alright. When we were done with our food is when the thing finally shows up. I felt bad for my friend cause she seemed she didn't even want it anymore since she was pretty much full, and we were done eating. Haha. But since we're nice and quiet folk, we didn't object and left a little disappointed in the whole experience. Honestly, the one thing we did enjoy was the honey drink my friend shared with us. Now that was very good. The price was way above the taste value. You're paying for the scenery and the mediocre food. But if it's so loud you can barely hear your friends when you chat-it becomes considerably less endearing. All in all the shop was busy, overwhelmed, and the waiter we had didn't have his priorities straight (OR he needed help on deck). I don't know what the issue was, but I can see it can be a good place-if it wasn't so busy. (Maybe) I don't think I'll ever go back, and others should still give this place a shot. Who knows, might get more lucky than we did. I originally was going to give it two stars because it's beautiful, but since the scenery was the only good experience I had-I dropped it back down to one star.

I like DOMU but, honestly, DOMU is probably not the best place for a date. Only because the tables in the dining room are so close together and small. It's impossible not to hear the next tables' conversations and a little too intimate for dining next to a stranger. Now, their food is pretty good! DOMU is one of the very few ramen places that take the time to make their own noodles and their broths are flavorful. Their portions are on the larger side and I can never finish my bowl of ramen. I tend to stick with the traditional and ever so popular tonkatsu when I go to ramen places because you can tell a lot about a ramen place by their tonkatsu. I love the tonkatsu at DOMU. The last time we were there, we ordered the Richie Rich and the Curry in medium. Both were delicious and the medium wasn't that spicy for a medium. We also had the DOMU wings in the seasonal flavor (yuzu citrus pepper) which was pretty good. The service is okay. The server we had the last we were here seemed a little preoccupied and it took a long time for the food to arrive. When it finally arrived to the table, there was a little mishap with my bowl where the noodles were a little undercooked and clumpy. When I shared this with the server, he immediately took it away and had another bowl made correctly... unfortunately, that also took a while and the other person I was with finished their bowl by the time I even received my corrected meal. Overall, it's a pretty good ramen place... not a good date place though. Maybe get take-out?

Very cute restaurant. I've been dying to eat at it for a while and finally did it! They seem very popular on the day we went (a Friday night, I believe) so we had roughly an hour long wait. I got the Lychee Martini as we waited (about 10 dollars) and it was so good, especially the Lychee on the toothpick! Careful though, I had no warning, it was definitely soaked in booze 🤭🤭 I got the Domu Wings and the Black Tonketsu ramen and honestly? I liked the wings better than the ramen. I'm a huge foodie when it comes to ramen and this one just tasted like a peppery chicken broth, I wasn't super impressed. But those wings? Absolutely get them, I almost didn't but the server convinced us to get them. I'm so glad she did, they are by far the best wings I have had in a while! Maybe I'll come back and try a different ramen, my boyfriend got the spicy curry ramen and his was much better than mine (then again, I'm a huge curry lover). But I'll definitely go back for those drinks and wings, those were to die for! Service was pretty good, we'll just have to come back on a not so busy day so that the kitchen isn't super slammed and we can get our food faster. The place itself is gorgeous but if you're sensitive to loud sounds like I am, you'll probably have to go on a less busy day. Every time a customer tips the kitchen, they bang on a gong one time and let the entire restaurant know that they received a tip. Cute concept, we tipped the kitchen, but very loud 🤣🤣 Menu is pretty big, lots of vegetarian options and a few vegan options. A little pricey for my liking but honestly most of the food was worth it. I can't wait to go again, hopefully we can get a better table that's not right next to the kitchen 🤭🤭 Oh and I'm not a huge ice cream fan, but we sampled the Horchata Ice Cream and it was really good. I would definitely give it a try if you love ice cream. See...

If you want to spend your money on nothing then this is the place for you.

This place seems very trendy with nothing to offer. If they would spend more money on broadening their menu instead of their expensive disposable napkins then I might have something positive to say.

I felt like my son and I were being judged from the time we walked in to the time we left.

The server was very rushy and not that attentive unless he was trying to get us out. Did not realize these establishment was turn and burn table service. I believe his name was Justin. We will get back to Justin.

We had their wing special with the Hot Mustard season. Personally I did not care for it but my son loved it. The sauce was too grainy tasting like the kind you would literally get from Popeye Chicken. No I am not kidding. The Noodle Bowl and broth were descent but that was the most positive thing I could say about this experience. Very limited menu so definitely view before you go into eat. Son also ordered a frozen mocktail and it was just a highball glass of sour mix and ice cubes with a fancy rice paper straw in it. Again felt rushed the whole time trying to enjoy a meal with my son and talk as that is what patrons do when we go out to a restaurant. Justin let me give you some helpful advice. Please don't drop the check down at the table before your guest are finished eating unless they request for you to bring them their check. I believe you came to our table 2 times asking if we needed anything after you dropped the check while we were still eating our entrée's . Very very uncomfortable feeling to say the least. Hope this review helps the establishment to take a better look from a patrons point of view. I also would like to say that the hostess gentleman was very polite to us when we left and got me a bag for my togo boxes. He was the best part of the whole...
