Original Post: after we ordered, I waited 20 minutes

The food wasn't ready.

As they prepared my food I watched a man with a beard eat while making my food

He picked off the grill and then grabbed a handful of onions

There are a lot of ServSafe signs... but not sure it is safe.

When the bread came out of the oven he picked and ate off of it.

The night before was the first time we were in the restaurant.

We looked at the menu and prices because I observed the manager training the staff and was impressed.

It was my fiancees' birthday and he choose to come back to celebrate with dinner from Antonio's.

When we got home... he knew what I saw and he put his pizza in the oven on warm... and I stared at mine.

He bit into his and kept eating.

I said you know we in the food service industry we're all trained to go hide where the customer has no chance of seeing you eat.

I bit into my steak sub.

I kept eating.

Thank you....

Training new employees is challenging.

In regards to customer service...

The cashier is new and didn't know that when multi-tasking one should put the customer first.

I don’t know who this Bill Austin fella is, but I’ve been eating from Antonio’s for 3 years give or take, and I’ve NEVER had a single problem with any of their food!! And who complains about leftovers??!!? That’s ignorant to me!! For the price you get more than what you pay for in my opinion!! The owners are super friendly!! Make me feel like family (which I’m not) they care about my (and all their customers) wellbeing and anything I might be going through in life!! When we were hit with the detestation of hurricanes mainly Helene in 2024, they were open and fed the community if not free then they were extremely helpful with charging fairly due to circumstances!! By the way, isn’t pizza supposed to be greasy?!? And also it’s definitely an unhealthy food, but it’s always delicious, consistent, and it’s made and served with love and compassion!! So to this “Bill” guy, if you weren’t happy then don’t eat there, but that’s your opinion on how “greasy” the pizza is, and everyone knows garlic knots are unhealthy, so take you opinion and go elsewhere!! Bc you had nothing to say but what’s healthy/unhealthy, and cry about having leftovers.. like who does that?? Get a life you sound like a lonely...

Unfortunately the past few times I have ordered from here, I have not had a great experience. I ordered an xtra lrg pineapple and got an absolute hot mess of a cheese only pizza. When I called I was asked if I would like to keep it and just have a credit for the next time or have the correct pizza made. Ha! I doubt I'll be ordering from here again, therefore, obviously I chose to have my pineapple pie made and delivered. Unacceptable phone service as well as I previously had a seafood dish and asked for tartar sauce and the cook was unwilling to accommodate the customer and make some which as a "chef" would know is only 3 ingredients that they have. Not sure if the supposed chef just isn't an actual chef... smh I took a picture of the original cheese EVERYWHERE OTHER THAN ON THE PIZZA, however I'm unable to post. I myself am a certified cook and I would IMMEDIATELY replace my cook! Absolutely unacceptable presentation of food and phone lady unfortunately is clueless and half listens to the answers to her questions. ...
