Embassy Crossing is like a little town. It might be the reason the mall across the street is only half full: Embassy Crossing has everything with better parking. An Olive Garden, a Chiliās, a huge sushi buffet and a small Chinese takeout for chow choices. Include that with a dentist, a beauty store and a locally owned barber and itās quickly sounding more and more like a small town.
Thereās also a Twisty Treat and Urban Air for fun. We frequent the Fantastic Samās, Books-a-Million and Pet Co. The anchor stores would a Ross and a bealls outlet, both of which are good places to find some deals. I believe Connās just opened a new store as well.
Deep in the corner lie a US Post Office tucked next to a Famous Footwear and a Lane Bryant. This is the only area that can experience parking problems during the day: In that corner between bealls and Pet Co. Also, I believe there are still offices upstairs across from the TD Bank on 19N that can help you with food assistance and other government programs. If Embassy Crossing is anything, itās handy. Iām lucky to live so close.
Also, local car enthusiasts hang out some weekend evenings in the ample parking lot. There has been no problem so far. I think...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreDollar Tree has always been been a favorite shopping spot of mine. It's a great place to get important 'girly' self care type stuff like make-up, nail polish, scarves, and definitely arts and crafts supplies. That said, this one particular Dollar Tree store does seem to leave quite a bit to be desired. The make-up section has almost nothing to offer. There were a few lipstick and of those, the shades are mostly muted, dark reddish and pink in color only. There is no blush to be seen anywhere and if there were any eye shadows here, I didn't see them. Of all the Dollar Tree stores around this area, the one on Congress and Massachusetts Ave has the biggest and best selection of stuff, though I recently discovered two free standing Dollar Trees in Palm Harbor (Alt 19 around Klosterman I think) and Tampa (can't remember exactly where) and I'm planning to check out the Tarpon Springs...
