Subway — Restaurant in Jasper

DO NOT GO HERE. I went through the drive thru today and ordered a meal. Was told the order was $11 even. Got to pay and asked for a receipt. The lady seemed a little worried for some reason I wanted a receipt. Didn’t think nothing of it til I looked at my watch and said I was charged $13.20 instead of the $11 she told me. It would’ve been $11 if she didn’t tip herself $2.20 on my card. She literally stole money from me. Instead of confronting a person over $2 and causing a scene I decided to leave a review for other people to see how theft is ok here. I by no means left a tip thru the drive thru. That explains why she was upset a little I asked for a receipt. Imagine if I didn’t ask for the receipt and imagine I didn’t get notifications on my watch of purchases I make with my card. Also, imagine how many people this lady has done this to and none are the wiser because it is such a small amount. If she’s done this to 100 people that is over $200 she has stolen. The problems with this subway.

I have zero issues with limited English speaking citizens having jobs. I wish with this particular subway there was at least 1 person fluent in English to understand 1)the food order 2)the concept off cross contamination

I had ordered a steak egg and cheese sandwich. They forgot the egg. Ok. No big deal. The big deal is they had to disassemble my sandwich to add the egg. The sandwich "artist" then proceeded to dump my sandwich contents back in their respective containers. The cheese having already been on the meat. Said sandwich artist grabbed new cheese out of the same container leaving my "steak cheese" rating with the other cheese.

I tried explaining what vegetarians were and what cross contamination was to 3 different "artist"

Did i leave the establishment feeling relieved? No. Did the contaminated items get dealt with? More than likely not.

In town for work today and stopped into this Subway and I am not pleased at all, first the lady only put 2 slices of pepper jack on my sandwich and I paid 45 cents for another slice, second she couldn’t understand me and third her attitude is not customer friendly. The lady who waited on me took the large spatula that gets the toasted bread from the oven and had it on her should and her hair! I asked for a manager but was told one was not on site. I had the bbq rib 6 inch and was told if I want extra olives, or any other veggies it would be extra. Wow just wow.
