I went to Arby's in Jefferson City Missouri on May 4th went through the drive-thru and they messed up my order the man that came up to my truck said that he was going to refund my money and fix our order. All we wanted were the orders they had deleted from the order we didn't ask him to refund it but he said that he was going to and that it would be applied back to my card the order was $18.47. Not only did he not refund my money he actually charged me again I have both receipts and on my bank records I have been charged $18.47 two times in a row from your company. I do not live in Jefferson City and when I called back down there the person I spoke with said that he was the new general manager had only been there a couple of days and that the owner was out walking around the lot with the district manager and that he would have someone call me that day no one has called me as of this date. I have called corporate headquarters. I called the first time and told the person that I have order numbers that I have. 1 was 7:43 p.m. and the other was at 7:53 p.m. the first order was number d as in dog 2299. The next receipt that I have says 7:53 p.m. c as in cat 200. Both receipt checks were for $18.47 the orders were for two roast beef doubles at 4.99 each a large Coke and a large Sprite and a large curly fry. Both times that I have called corporate headquarters and explain my situation I have been told someone will be calling you back this afternoon and no one has. Today the inform me that on May 16th someone called at 8:18 a.m. voicemail no one called my number and left a voicemail at any time I checked and I am extremely good at answering back calls especially when it concerns my money. My total bill that has been taken out of my account is $36.94. When I called Arby's in Jefferson City I was told that the person I was speaking with was the new general manager and that the owner was out walking around the lot with the district manager and that he would have him get ahold of me cuz he wasn't sure how to refund my money or what to do. A general manager doesn't know how to make a refund evidently you don't have to give them much training do you? He never called at any time and the times I have tried to call at different times of the day I don't get an answer. The first woman I talked to at corporate headquarters wrote all my information down told me someone would be calling me that day didn't happen. The one I talked to you earlier today told me that you all had tried to return my call and I know that I did not get a voicemail. I used to really like Arby's however I'm considering changing that opinion and telling everybody I know just exactly how people are treated at least at that Arby's. For me to return to that specific restaurant it's about an hour away. I live on Social Security I'm 64 I have had multiple Strokes and I don't get out that much much less can I afford it and I sure can't afford $37 for two sandwiches a curly fry and two sodas I live on $803 a month total. I still have both receipts if you would like to have a picture of them let me know and I'll send it email. I really hope that you do honor what I was told the night that the order was messed up Plus on the phone and then today again on the phone. You'll have to forgive me if I doubt it though. I mean I've Been Told multiple times that I was going to be contacted and haven't been nor have I received anything even remotely resembling a refund. It didn't take you long to take the money out of my account but it sure is taking a while to get it put back. I am extremely unhappy. I am sending you a picture of both receipts in this...
Read moreDecided to take my daughter through your drive thru last night. It was hands down one of worst drive thrus I've ever been to. There were two cars in front of me, which was okay, but it seemed to be taking an exceptional amount of time. I just assumed the car in front had a large order and so we waited patiently. Then next vehicle seemed to be taking forever. Once again I assumed maybe they just had a large order and we sat th patiently. Finally, we get up to the window. We sat there for over five minutes before the girl working drive thru even acknowledged we were there. She just sat inside the window hitting the cops in the cup dispenser like she was dribbling a basketball. At this point I did not even know my total yet, because I was told to drive around to the window to get my total. I ordered two meals which came to just shy of twenty-five dollars which was not a problem. The problem is that first the girl gave my daughter the wrong drink. We waited another seven minutes for food after we were ignored for five minutes to watch your employee drink cups, and then when we finally received our food. It was cold. Not a situation where it may not have been able to get as we'd preferred, but fresh out of a fridge cold. I've had your Reubens many times and I enjoy them, but they come got. Your fries come hot. I don't want to pay twenty-five dollars for hot food that's not hot and service that falls below mediocre level. The employees that were working should be ashamed and learn some work ethic and...
Read moreStore #8344 has not rebounded well after the reopening of it’s dine-in service. There is some kind of disconnect between the walk-in customers and the beleaguered staff. Serving dine-in customers may be more than the staff is equipped to handle. It is not unusual to be left hanging out at the order counter while staff is busily filling drive-in orders and Door Dash orders and unable to give a quick “ Welcome to Arby’s “ greeting to those who plan to dine-in. Why? Why would you not let customers know the wait will be worth it? The grim atmosphere is not pleasant. No smiles, no friendliness. I have been met with the “ just doing my job “ attitude for the last time at this Arby’s. I am sorry if the company cannot get people who want to work there , or probably anywhere else either. Too many workers haven’t been properly trained and given a chance to learn the job before they have to take on a full load. Not fair. Some have no previous experience interacting courteously with strangers and they are not equipped to deal with frustrations . If criticized they are hotly reactionary, instantly. Arby’s has a great selection of food on it’s menu, good prices, pleasant dining room, with food made ready in a very timely manner. We love Arby’s. Stop offering the senior discount if only the shift manager can process it. The shift manager is trying to keep many balls in the air and cannot just drop some of them to come to the cash register repeatedly. The manager has enough...
