Absolutely, hands down, the best pizza in jeff city. Spot on!! The sausage is the best. We ordered ravioli which was really good. "the bus" pizza is awesome. Stacy was our waitress, she was very accommodating, answered all my questions and even recommended other dishes. I love employees who know the menu and can recommend things off the menu. Instead of the standard "its all good" you seem to get from most places these days. The owner serves authentic Greek food and it's flippin delicious! Need a drink? Get an amaretto sour, their pretty good (my husband recommends) Already planning our next trip...
Revisited on 11/30/24 for round two, and oh boy, it was a letdown. The ravioli, which obviously wasn't homemade, had that distinct 'I've been chilling in Cisco's freezer' vibe. I opted for marinara over ranch, but guess what? The marinara was MIA. My husband embarked on a quest for a tiny cup, only to be assured it'd magically appear at our table. Fast forward to our last three ravioli, and the waitress drops the bombshell: 'Marinara? That's extra.' Huh? Last time, it was free and our server was a rockstar. But wait, there's more! Swapping chips for fries? You guessed it – extra. So, it seems condiments and fries are luxury items here. Got it, but consistency would be nice. The Calzone arrived minus dipping sauce because, of course, that's an up-charge too. Are they running a condiment black market? No welcome upon arrival, no farewell, despite a welcoming committee of 4 or 5 staff doing what appeared to be zilch. The owner managed a 'have a good night,' which was pleasant, I'll give him that. But $64 for this adventure? No condiments included? I'm out. After two visits, I'm voting with my wallet – $64 can buy a lot of...
Read moreI will say this the place looks nice. I ordered two extra large pizzas one pepperoni and one pepperoni & chicken and a order of boneless buffalo wings this total came to $59.61. I picked my order and tipped the staff 4 bucks even though the person seemed very timid and uncomfortable serving me. Well I was fine with all the but then when we got hoke and tasted the pizza it was awful not sure how you mess up pizza but that was it. The pizza was too salty and the quality of the cheese was terrible. Toppings tasted old ot just wasn't good my entire family didn't like and my youngest will usually eat anything especially pizza but even he wasn't having it I literally still have 85% of both pizzas left and the boneless wings. I tried to speak with management about it but was told it's nothing they can do about it and when I called back the manager was too busy to talk needless to say that will be my first and last time ever patronizing Theo's I just wish I would not have wasted 60 bucks to learn...
Read moreWe rolled into Theo's after a long day on the Katy Trail as we heard that this was a great spot. It was an overcast day, but about 80 degrees, there were maybe 3 tables going in the place (10-12 people) and we asked if we could sit on the patio as we needed to keep our bikes and gear in sights, but they advised that the patio was not open. We asked if we could get our food to go and sit on the patio, we didn't need to be serviced. The hostess (very nice) went and asked the owner in the back. Came back and said no the owner was too busy to unlock the door. Then we asked if we just just put our bikes on the patio and eat inside. (There was a side door to the patio outside) hostess went back and asked again and again the owner said he couldn't be bothered. We got our food to go and we sat in the parking lot on the ground and ate. The food was pretty good, but I just don't understand this type of customer service. Really...
