If I could give this establishment a zero I would, I have been going here for years, referred family, and friends, my husband referred his officers here. I had the worst experience here from a restaurant yesterday. I ordered a half pan of food pre ordered, was told to pick up 11/23/22, before 5pm. They open at 12 so my husband said I will take you early because we have a lot of other places to pick up food. We had been driving since 930am picking up food for the holiday. We get there she is still cooking, said another hour and a half. My husband was very upset, They are a hour and 15 minutes away. I decided since I really wanted the food , I would come back. I called prior to 3xs to let them know my ETA. They said ok. I get there and she has no food for me. My food had been given to other people that pre paid. But The lady never asked me to pre pay. I talked over the phone, I ordered it by phone, I came earlier, still no one out of all the 6 or more workers asked me to pre pay. I told them who I was and what I was waiting on, and picking up. I gave this to at least 4 different people. Not one person said you need to pre pay first. I have been there many times ordered food by phone, didn’t have to pre pay to get food , or to have food prepared. I went to 5 other establishments I ordered food at yesterday, the food was ready, all I had to do was give my name and pay. So I try to support their business, and be treated in this way. I used 5 hours of driving back and forth there yesterday and over a quarter tank of gas. And they kept saying she still cooking come back and to get back there to have some one say, she no longer has your food because you didn’t pre pay, when no one had asked me to. I had cc, and cash and not one person said I need to pay first. And I never had to do that before. So I’m not sure what is going on at this location. Read moreIf I could give this restaurant zero stars I would as this restaurant is very unprofessional, dishonest, and lacks customer service. I placed an order via Uber Eats for an entree with (3) sides that included "Turkey Parts" as the main coarse, after placing this order I received a call from this restaurant where they stated they do not carry the main coarse (the "Turkey Parts") on Sundays but this was not referenced at all on their Uber Eats menu and had I known I would have not ordered this item and would have ordered a different main entree. I was asked if I would like to substitute the item for a different main course and I stated, yes, I would like to substitute for the "Catfish" as I was not interested in any of the other items that were available. The person who I was speaking with them mentioned that there would be a price difference for this selection which would have been a $1.00 between the cost of the two different meals that I ordered and she also stated that because the order was already paid for that they could not swap the item out because of this $1.00 difference which I find absurd due to the fact that nowhere on their Uber Eats menu did it state that the item that I wanted was only available on certain days of the week and this issue was not due to my part. They also stated they were unable to cancel my Uber Eats order as they confirmed it and left it on me to cancel the order and I was charged for the order (for no food or reason) and had to contest the charge through Uber Eats. So as a word a word to the wise please be careful when dealing with them, you may lose money.
After further investigation, I discovered they weren't being honest and merchants can cancel orders if they are unable to accommodate your order.
(Note: I've never dealt with any cancellations with the Uber Eats platform after years of using it so I was unsure of how the process worked exactly)

Read moreBy far the worst customer service I have ever experienced at an establishment. My family and I went to have a dinner for my Grandmother's 75th Birthday. There was a total of 18 of my family members. What should have been a normal birthday celebration turned into a disaster. Our orders were completely wrong multiple times, not to mention several of us had to wait over an hr and a half for our meals due to those incorrect orders that were placed by our waitress. Once the bill came, as expected our waitress was completely unorganized and did not know who ordered what, Walking around asking us individually to recount what we ordered. After all the confusion, we asked could the bills for those who had to wait over an hr and a half for their meals be discounted? Our request was met with frustration, and resentment. The staff took zero accountability for the poor customer service, and the hr and a half wait to be served. Simple request like water took over 45 mins to be delivered. After making a request to speak with the owner, she too was NOT apologetic for the poor service her staff demonstrated, and demanded that all meals be paid in full. From my understanding the customer is always right, especially when there are several accounts of the same poor service. After our refusal to pay in full for terrible service, Ms. Dorothy (the owner) threaten to call the police on our entire family. Keep in mind we were there for a birthday celebration for my Grandmother. We could not even sing happy birthday to her because the waitresses did not even have the decency to come and clean off our table and remove our plates after our meals were complete.
