Buona — Restaurant in Oak Park

I spend so much money here visit 3x week get the same salad. Each time order always something wrong 1st order salad without bacon only discover bacon and there reason being not enuff space bacon sometimes drop in that's not ok. Yesterday visited ordered same salad then ordered soup ate soup waited 15 minutes still no salad talk to manager she gives some reason basically blaming me and they made salad Finally received salad get all the way back to work Chicago 25 minutes away the salad specifically stated no cheese. I pass the cashier a note each time order placed majority of time its wrong. I couldn't let it go waisted money and gas REMIND YOU THIS ALL ON 30 MINUTE LUNCH returned salad for refund. END OF STORY NO FOOD. The employees are all nice and always willing to remake order but why always problems frustrating. I just want to each salad and get back to work. Give way too much of my money and time. This is the only place I would eat while working in the office 3x a week it's so good. Management need to do better seriously this...

I'm a regular customer here. My to-go order is always the grilled chicken salad. Some days, they hook it up with the amount of salad & chicken... other days they don't.

That's not the moral of this story.

I would like to shout out the employee Kali H, who usually takes the orders and charges at the window. Every time I get my order taken from Kali, I can't help but notice that he's very professional and attentive. I've had other employees who annoyingly ask me to repeat my order 2-3 times. However, Kali has never had any issues taking my orders in the past and present. Even during rush hour, which is typically when take my lunch break (not by choice), I notice that the overwhelming amount of customers inside the restaurant & at the drive-thru doesn’t faze Kali. His customer service skills shine. True leadership qualities.

Disappointed! Buona Beef is one of my go to spots when craving a good Italian Beef. I live near the Oak Park location and the fact that they have a drive thru is a plus. I’m not sure who is working the kitchen, but my guess is that they assume that all Italian beefs are ordered the same. I ordered food for a family of 6 and made sure to order all of our beefs baptized per their menu option. Well, our beefs were not only DRY! They had the smallest amount of beef between the lightly moist bread. You would think I used a coupon for a free sandwich, in which I could possibly see their logic behind less meat, BUT, we paid full price for a poorly made meal.The amount of time that we waited at the drive thru to what seemed like a slow night for the establishment didn’t bother me so much, UNTIL I reached in to the bag and noticed the NOT so HOT fries!
