Sleeping Village — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

this was my first time the other day I was just here for an event and there was a door man with bleached curly hair that was beyond wasted. Outside he took my ID and looked at my friends saying it wasn’t her, when I corrected him it was mine he yelled saying he was confiscating it. at that moment I could smell the alcohol on his breath. I asked him if i could speak to his manager since he seemed drunk and i can smell the alcohol on his breath he said “i don’t know who that would be it’s my second day here”. he went inside for 2 seconds pretending to look for someone and came stumbling back outside immediately. It took a bit of back and forth to get him to understand that he was making an error but at that point i was already upset. He eventually let us in when i said i’d call the cops since my id is legal and my property. I went in to ask the bartender for a manager and he also was rude to me since i wasn’t ordering a drink. At that point i was having anxious time and i just wanted to let it go but i’m leaving this review because i think is dangerous for the doorman to be that drunk i get it it’s a bar and you work there for free drinks but it’s a safety hazard and just didn’t sit...

It is a beautiful venue. Could do with some new lights. Maybe a more fluid Dj. (In the way of djing)It is fun to experiment. But being a dj is feeling the crowd not just your own vibe.Its a beautiful job to be able to bring people closer with rhythm and lyrics. But if its just you... mine as well be playing an ipod nano. I do not think the dj need to be replaced. Just maybe go see a new dj that is popular. Hopefully see how music really can make or break a persons night. Restrooms were so respectful and clean. Front end of house is very nice and hospitable. Drinks are good. Really wish they had oj. And maybe craberry juice. Or something. I get why it is hard but its hard to want a drink if i dont like grapefruit. Or others dont really. The theme night... is intrusing very open intubation. Wish the sliding scale depend on how you dress to impress.(western was the theme) who ever prompted this did a great job. It had a high turn out. And was very fun. Wish there where better maked trash cans. I love that they had a speech about consent and respect. It was very beautiful. Alot of praise. Photobooth lookes cute but is over looked when you walk in the door. So please loom...

My husband and I had our wedding at Sleeping Village and it was soooooo wonderful.
