I LOVE cheesesteak and have been eyeing this place for some time. I finally had the chance to try it last week. I ordered the garlic aioli cheesesteak and hubs got the deluxe cheeseburger. We ordered at the counter and they brought out food in about 10 minutes. We also got a side of garlic fries. My cheesesteak was the best I've had in Chicago. The bread was light and toasty on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside. I choice provolone for my cheese and it was melted perfectly. There was a lot of meat on this sandwich but not so much that it fell apart while picking it up. The steak was cooked and seasoned just right and it was chopped perfectly so that no meat was annoyingly pulled out of the sandwich while you are taking bites. The garlic aioli was a nice addition. The fries…omg the fries. They were fried perfectly and had a light seasoned coating. The coating was not over powering and the fries were crispy and hot. The heavy garlic seasoning was absolutely delicious! The Ruger was huge. The meat was well seasoned and the toppings added nice flavor. Its a very messy burger so beware. We didn't mind that at all. Sometimes messy food just...

Great place. I love that this deli and store has seats to enjoy their great food.

Deep fried pickles were everything! Then again, that should be their bread and butter! Get it, it's a pickle pun! Bread and butter flavor of pickles? No? Ouch that's a zinger! No, I won't stop! Here's a few more...

The place smells of dill. That's not a big dill to you, is it?

I'd say if you walked inside, and if you weren't here for a vinegary spear, well that's a pickle I just can't fathom.

I was going to ask that they slice some cucumber for atop my sandwich, but I didn't want the staff to look at me sour. That wouldn't be kosher!

I wish they had a proper soda fountain with free refills. I wanted to suggest that, but I think they'd be salty with me. Lots of bottled drinks instead.

Jokes aside, one star off because fries and a burger were separate, not a combo. And together added up to quite an expensive meal. Good portion though. Plus I got a creative offering and it was delightful so I feel I got my...

The owner is the most genuine person ever! Food is excellent, lots of options. Vegetarian sandwich with mushrooms was delicious!! Extremely nice employees and place is super clean!!! Healthier substitutions of sodas and variety of snacks. You also get a free pickle with a sandwich that was delicious!

My car was hit and run around the block and i stopped by to ask the owner for help with the footage. Without thinking he said yes. Even tho he was busy, still wanted to help and left a complete stranger in his office to look for a footage. Thank you again, unconditionally for the trust and genuine, truly genuine willingness to help.World needs more people like you, sir!

Yes we found who has hit my car, and yes i am definitely coming for more delicious food. You better do the same, because this man, his family and employees deserve all of our support and in return they will provide great service, delicious food in a clean...

We were greeted by a huge smile from Mr. Rubin! Since we were new to this restaurant, he gave us some really good suggestions. We got the Chicago Classic Steak and Cheese plus an order or fried pickle spears. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!! I'm used to having the fried pickle chips, but these spears have changed my life!!! The sandwich was full of well seasoned meat! One sandwich can easily feed two people. The only thing I would changed about the sandwich is the bread. Although the bread tastes great, I wish it was a little softer, less thick. The restaurant is like a mini deli-grocery store. It was well organized with different drinks, chips, snacks and sauces. There is space to eat inside as well.

This is THE SPOT for lovers of chips, soda, and a quality deli sandwich. There's a wall of more than 5 Deep Rover kettle chips to choose from, unique beverages ranging from Red Bull to Jaritos, Jones, Olipop, and Calypso lemonade. The menu is, for the most part, Ala carte, but the options range from your classic turkey or Italian to a corn beef sandwich. They offer burgers, wings, and fries as well. And you can build your own, so there is something for everyone. After tip my sandwhich, chips, and soda was a little more expensive than I like but the full size sandwhich is the size of two sandwhiches so you are getting your money's worth!
