Chili's Bar & Bites — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

The bald headed waiter was very rude to my 11 year old daughter who was trying to order for herself. She asked for chicken tenders with honey chipotle sauce. She was asking very quietly so when he asked if she wanted sauce I reemphasize honey chipotle sauce. When our food came there was no sauce. When I told the waiter she still needed sauce he says "she didn't ask for sauce". I said yes she did and I said it too. He said "well if she did I would have written it down and I didn't so she didn't ask". I said well, I did, clearly. He then said "Well, SHE didn't". I said so we aren't going to get the sauce then? He proceeded to go get the sauce. Also worth mentioning he never brought my sons Mac and cheese but I didn't want to interact with this individual any more and my son said he didn't need it. Way to go making an 11 year old feel even more insecure. If you don't like working in customer service please don't. Someone else would gladly have your job. This was the Chilis...

Making an allowance for the fact that this is an airport location, this place needs a deep clean ASAP! The staff was nice once I got in the restaurant, there was a wait to get in, not because they were busy, but because no one seemed to be manning the front. It wasn't just me, I watched as other people waited as I ate as well. The food was...edible, but it was not good. I ordered the chicken crispers. These ARE NOT the same crispers from the restaurant out in the world. These were cafeteria style chicken strips. Overcooked and dry. They came with macaroni and cheese that was microwaved to an atomic temperature and was flavorless. The fries were fries. My coke and water came in these plastic mugs, which was fine, but I don't know if they've been overused or they weren't clean or a combination of both. The price was reasonable for an airport location. This place needs some TLC...

Excellent Salmon, Broccoli and rice dish. Like everything at the airports a bit pricier than a regular chilis but its worth it. Im at O'hare often and every chance I get I'm buying this. Darlene is my favorite of the gals there, very professional but she's a no nonsense ol'school lady that tells it like it is. Beware if your a softy, a new generation kind of person, she might make you cry. I've eaten at nearly all the restaurants at this airport and this is by far the best deal around.
