It's always frustrating to have such a poor experience in a place with good intentions. Unfortunately, there is much to be improved upon, and as it stands, I wouldn't be able to recommend this place by any means.
Starting off the night with a lemonade, what I received was a nauseatingly sweet and sugary powder mix in water - something like Country Time. The adobo chicken was cooked well, but my no means exceptional in terms of flavor, with a mild sauce covering various cuts of fatty, cartilage-filled chicken. The garlic rice was decent. The lechon was one of the more underwhelming I've ever had, with texture and flavor simply not measuring up - even given the affordable prices. Tasting various dishes that other people at the table ordered left the same impression.
They were out of several of the more desirable desserts, which left me trying their halo-halo. What tasted like a maple pecan ice cream was put on top of shaved ice, condensed milk, and various mix-ins such as beans and coconut. Everything quickly turned into an icy slosh of water and condensed milk, and the experience was basically like eating a condensed milk and bean slushy.
Karaoke costs 50 cents a song, a can of soda or water costs $1. With service being friendly, albeit almost entirely non-existent, this place feels more like a self-service mini-bar than any sort of reputable restaurant to have a party or event. This place was unanimously bad by all 6 of the people I went with. Although obviously not intentional, a lazy menu, kitchen, and staff simply can't make up for any amount friendly...

I highly recommend the sisig, which is wonderfully spicy and prepared traditionally with chopped pork ear and liver. The sinigang na miso is perfectly tart and loaded up with veggies. It’s truly the ultimate comfort food. I’ll definitely be back every time I find myself...
