Khan BBQ is a disappointment. A long time ago the place was just called Khan Restaurant and it was fine. It's terrible now.
Let's start with the design. Absolutely tacky. Pink walls, ugly tables--don't bring someone you're trying to impress here. It's dirty and the lighting is unreasonably bright and awkward. There are random paintings on the wall that don't match anything. The bathroom is bad too--locks don't work properly.
We were here with a large group once and couldn't decide what to eat. When we eventually decided, the waiter told us we had to order more food because it wouldn't be enough for us. We told him we didn't want anymore and were just eating light, but he kept on arguing with us. He was not friendly at all.
We made the mistake of giving this place another chance...we had a different waiter but he did the exact same thing. He argued again and said we weren't ordering enough food, even though we had ordered more than enough and assured him we knew our own diets better than him. I don't know if that is how they train their waiters, but it is one odd tactic and the waiters were very condescending. The waiter also dipped his finger in the food when he brought it to our table.
The food is not terrible. But why go here when there are so many other good Pakistani-Indian restaurants with better service, better prices, and food that is just as good, right down the street? Don't upset yourself...
Read moreI recently visited Khan BBQ with high hopes, enticed by their promising menu and the allure of a good barbecue. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. From the moment we received the bill, it was clear that we were overcharged, a stark contrast to the advertised prices. This left a sour taste even before discussing the food quality.
Speaking of the food, it regrettably didn't live up to the mark. The dishes lacked the flavors and finesse one would expect from a barbecue establishment, leaving much to be desired. Both the meats and the accompaniments seemed hastily prepared, lacking in the depth and richness of flavor that is the hallmark of great barbecue cuisine.
Service and ambiance aside, the core of a restaurant's offering—its food and pricing—simply didn't deliver at Khan BBQ. It's disheartening when a meal out, anticipated to be a delightful experience, ends in disappointment. I hope this feedback serves as a constructive critique for the restaurant to improve its offerings and pricing transparency. For now, though, I regret to say I won't be returning or...
Read moreRecently We went there to have dinner. We ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken seekh kabab, beef bihari kabab, and naan. The bihari kabab was good. I also liked the tikka masala. But the seek kabab was not upto the mark. It tasted more like egg than chicken. The naans were okay. The service was horrible. We were a group of seven. Some of us went early and were waiting for the others. The others took about 10 mins. At this time, three waiters came three to four times to tell us to order now, even though we told them we had more guests arriving. When ordering, the waiter asked multiple times if these were what we wanted. Do we want more? Because the kitchen will be closed. Even though we said that was enough for us, they were asking and insisting on ordering more. Finally, we didn't even finish eating, the waiter came and told us to pay. I had to pay in the middle of my dinner. The service was really poor. The price of the food is higher compared...
