Warren (Laurence) Park — Attraction in Rogers Park Township

I live right next to this park and have been going here ever since I was a kid. It’s a huge park with multiple sport fields and huge parking space with lots water fountains with separate biking and walking lanes. It even has a huge golf course!! There’s so much greenery at this park and it’s almost always clean! Great place to even do a BBQ! However, some walking and biking lanes have massive potholes/cracks that have been neglected for years and they lead to lots of water and mid everywhere on the walkways every time it rains and it becomes really hard to bike and almost impossible to walk without...

One of the hidden treasures of Chicago. A very spacious and beautiful indoor and outdoor facility. Plenty of parking, shade and lighting for family entertainment. The trees are well kept, the fields are mowed and kept neat and clean. The Park District staff provide year round actives and seasonal events that are well organized educational and affordable. There are ample spaces to sit quietly and enjoy nature. The police are usually present most of the day. Warren Park is near the CTA bus station for easy access....

I come to this park to meet up people for a little tennis now and then. There is always parking, at least on the weekends and the courts are in great conditions. I only wish they had indoor courts too because this won't last very long. I will try to utilize this park as often as I can while the fall is still around.
