Man, they really worked my nerves today. I think they need some serious training in customer service. Great customer service is easy when situations are easy and simple, but it’s the challenging situations that really identify great service. I had a curbside order this morning. I get home, handle some meetings, send some invoices and by that time my stomach is eating itself. I come to find out the breakfast sandwich is completely wrong and has bacon, I haven’t had pork since 2006. Not to mention that on the way home, I noticed my coffee had cream. I havent had cow’s milk since 2002. I don’t do cream. So I travel all the way back to the restaurant for them to tell me because it was a mobile app order the only thing they could do is exchange it for something on the lunch menu. I explained I have no interest in MCD for lunch. And she shrugs, oh well. She tells me the money goes to the app. Not the restaurant, so she can’t refund. So I asked does the restaurant just give away free food for the food that comes through the app? Long story short from the minute she was informed I was there due to an issue her entire attitude was “wtf do you want”. There was no compassion, no “I’m sorry for the inconvenience” “I’d be happy to…” “my apologies” NONE OF THAT. Her approach, attitude, and energy very loudly said “damn what do you want, I can’t give you want you want, and oh well deal with it”. I even asked her mgr’s name and she said Feliciano. I asked, does he have a last name? She said “I don’t know it”. Lol It was a sh*tty experience and I’ll never go to that MCD again and that was my...
Read moreSo I'm out for an evening walk at about 8oclock in my new neighborhood and see a McDonald's open and decide to get a quick bite. Order 2 small burgers and a medium coke. The patties were paper thin but it was freshly made so whatever on those. The part that gets me is that on my way out I was throwing away my bag and asked the person at the front for a refill and was denied. I've been going to McDonald's across the country since I was a child getting happy meals and always was able to get refills. She was clearly the manager and the only one that I encountered that spoke English. Going back to the transaction I asked the cashier to make sure there are refills before I purchased and sweet girl just nodded. I was not certain if she understood but whatever. The part that gets me is THE MANAGER of the location denied my request for refill when there are no visible signs saying that refills aren't allowed at this location as I told them. "You will have to pay for a new coke" is all she can say so I leave. Imagine losing a neighborhood patron at your location forever over a refill for a medium coke that will at most cost the location 15 cents. 15 cents!!! If I was the GM or the franchisee I personally would be irate that the manager didn't have enough business sense to make a 1...
Read moreFor the first time, l decided to part take in a pick up order and try out the McDonald’s application. Which I found to be delightful until I had to walk into the location in close proximity to me. Upon walking I realized they had done a remodel. The update looks great but they limited the space for patrons to come in and dine. I understand there was a pandemic but when you limit the patrons space you would think it would be easy to keep the place clean because it’s small. But that was not the case in fact it was filthy. Then when I walked up to the counter there was no one in-front. Once I got my food I went home and it all made sense why the place wasn’t maintained. Carelessness! My food look like someone sat on it and then given to me as a joke. I been in management for over 12 and if this is the experience that is expected of me I would be out of a job. I am a firm believer of giving 100 percent in everything you do even if it’s...
