My plane landed at 2:36 am due to the unfortunate parking here at Reggio's Pizza express. Then i drove to the airport. Upon arrival, dazed, confused, and hungover; There was one source of comfort. The smell of Reggio's Pizza wafting through the air. Stepping up to the counter i was greeted with a philosophical question: "What do you want" I was appalled. I never considered exactly what i wanted. My life has derailed long ago and this simple query snapped me back onto the tracks. Upon pondering deep within my soul, i found my core. The things i so desperately craved. I've overcomplicated everything i do, and now i realize that life's greatest pleasures come from the simple things. A plain cheese pizza, and a bottle of water is all i will take. Handing me the bottle of water, the worker stated "Here you go" This truly moved me. Like a father pushing their kid leaning to ride a bike. I felt like Reggio's Pizza Gave me that push to get back on my bike. This water bottle will become a family airloom, I will gather my children and their children around this water bottle and tell the tale of how Reggio's Pizza Express made me who i am. Ever since that day. I've dedicated myself to the craft, Found success beyond my wildest dreams. My net worth is currently 1.2 Billion dollars, and i look back on the investment i made in the substance provided by Reggio's Pizza express, and now, Upon reflection. IT WAS WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!! 11$??? For this miniature sized pizza?? For a guy like me, I went through 12 before i even began to feel satisfied. Despite the lifechanging lessons i learned here at Reggio's Pizza Express, I cannot condone the pricing. As a billionaire, Even this is Too pricey for me. While its none of my business and didn't effect the experience i had. I suspect there was a massive fire back in the kitchen, with people yelling and shouting all the while i pondered and ordered. I, as an empath, sensed that there may be danger and distress nearby, likely caused by the fire. Though, i can see how for some people, things like this would truly enhance the experience. But it may fly under the radar because not everyone is an empath like me and able to sense these things.
As i lie here, wires attached throughout my body, the light growing near, i think back to my time spent at Reggio's Pizza Express. If only they taught me how ferocious ladders can be. I started as a humble entrepreneur starting my very own ladder store. During early setup I started stacking the ladders on top of each other, Realizing this would lead to infinite space as there was no roof on my building. The ladders did not take kindly to this. One rainy night, over 100 feet of ladders stacked upon one another toppled down, attacking me. Gnashing and ripping my flesh apart as they continued to dogpile on my twitching body. Somehow i caught fire, i think one of those bastards snuck a lighter in the mess. As i lay still engulfed in flames, ladders crushing my body, I remembered the push given to me as the employee at Reggio's Pizza Express handed me my water bottle. "Here we go" i said. A burst of energy shoots through me. I singlehandedly break free of the hundreds of ladders stacked on top of me. I thought back to the fire at Reggio's Pizza Express. Using my empath powers i extrapolated how they were able to extinguished the flames. With this knowledge i spun my arms WICKED fast. Some would say, extremely fast. Blowing the flames onto my attackers (the ladders). The rest of the night was a blur, but i came to surrounded by scrap metal. The ladders had no chance against me at my full strength, alas; I am unfortunately De-buffed. (arthritis) From this, they did quite a number on me.
As i lay still on my deathbed i want to thank, Reggio's Pizza Express. For the experience. For the parking. For the food. And most important, for a friend.
This is truly why i rate it, 4 stars. No more. No less.
Honorable mentions: Chic Fila (catered my marriage ceremony)

Read moreThis place was about as unfriendly as it could be. I was traveling with a group of 6 on a business trip when we stopped by. When we were about 4 people back in line the lady behind the counter starts asking "what do you want". We ordered 4 pepperoni and 2 pepperoni with red onion. When we got to the register the girl had the hardest time understanding that I was paying for all 6 together. We ordered an additional bottled water, a regular Coke, and a diet Coke. She asked at least 4 times if we wanted bottles or fountains. We started off telling her fountain drinks. It seemed like every time she touched the register she would ask bottle or fountain. We ended up with 1 bottle of Coke, 1 bottle of diet Coke, 1 bottled water, and a cup of ice. Because the lady took our order so early the pizza was no where close to being hot. I spent 64 dollars for food that was ok at best. If we had more time I would have bought food elsewhere but it took so long to get through the line we had to get to our gate. If I were basing my opinion of Chicago pizza off of this experience I would say it is not good at all. I have been to Chicago several times and I know Chicago pizza is totally different than what we were presented. We won't make this...
Read moreNormally I wouldn't review this place. Momma taught me if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything. Well every once in a while something is so bad that it isn't just a matter of personal taste, this my friends is one of them. After a four hour flight from Portland, getting up late rushing to the airport, just making our flight my girlfriend said where you want to eat, well I have never really had to sit in Chicago any length before, so duh no brain bring me that deep dish. Looked reggio's right by the gate. We stood in line waiting, I watched them bring out a fresh pizza and said that's the one for me. There was absolutely no where to sit (not their fault) so we walked found a charge station kiosk and sat to eat. Well first of all they are frozen garbage and this particular one wasn't even heated through it was still very cold yeah me. Lou malnati's I hope the day I get to your place it isn't garbage like this one. Cause that is exactly where it went. Don't waste your money at this place, oh and the staff very rude not to me. No personality...
