The Horror House — Local services in Jefferson Township

The Horror House is about as fantastic a shop and source of community as I can imagine. It’s like visiting a comic shop and being able to talk with passersby and the people on the job about any and everything related to not only horror, but niche interests across the board.

The owners are kind, fun, and care about what they’re doing in addition to simply finding happiness in seeing customers like myself delighted with what they sell and the community that springs up around this place.

Doesn’t matter how much of a horror fan you are; from being a fan of Blood Sucking Freaks to having really just liked the most recent ghostbuster movie. Horror House has stuff you’d be interested in buying and, even better, wonderful people interested in you getting the most out of being a fan of spookiness...

My husband and I were in Chicago for a work trip and being horror lovers we HAD to stop by. We had a great conversation with the employee working that day and he even threw in a few freebies and coupons for next time we visit. He recommended a few other places that sound right up our alley. We're already planning another trip to Chicago to check out his recommendations. This will definitely be a stop for us any time we're in the area. They had a great selection and some really unique pieces. I was so happy to find a Hatchet shirt and in my size! LOVE LOVE LOVE...

The coolest stop we made on our short trip to Chicago this time! An absolute MUST visit for anyone who loves horror.

Moses is an absolute gem human and we stayed in the shop for an hour just chatting with him. We spent money, and got some amazing stuff, but the experience we had conversing with him was the best part of our time in the city. More people should be like him in life! Horror movie knowledge and just genuine cool knowledge too.

We will definitely visit again next...
