Super dissapointing experience overall. Decided to swing thru the drive thru for a quick bite on the way home. Usually don't partake in Taco Bell but the convenience and quickness made sense this night Ordered a Taco Bell Luxe Box combo, paid and was asked to pull into a parking spot to wait on the food. Waited and was given my bag of food. Was about to pull away but realized i was smelling KFC, not Taco Bell. Check the bag and its a box of chicken strips, not the Luxe Box I ordered. Went inside and let the staff know there was an issue. The tall young lady with braids who took my order at the drive thru told me they would remake the correct order. I waited 10 minutes with nothing, then i asked on the status and it was clear that the reorder was never communicated to the kitchen staff. "Oh theyre making it now" i was told. Waiting another 10 minutes and checl again, the food still isnt ready. At this point my "quick stop on the way home" was taking over 25 minutes for supposed "fast food". To add to the frustration, the entire time I was waiting, the lady working drive thru was on Facetime on speaker phone chatting with a freind. They again said its "about to be made" but frustrated, i asked for the order to be refunded. A supervisor was called over to make the refund happen. At this point, the drive thru lady didnt even know what my order was to refund it (she also never asked if I wanted Chicken or Beef, the options for the Luxe Box). At this point, very frustrated and hungry, I told her if she hadnt been on the phone the entire time, maybe the order would have gotten made correctly the first time. The supervisor then asked her to get off the phone to which she challenged him. I've worked in the restaurant industry for decades and don't expect amazing service from a Taco Bell but this was ridiculous. I left, walked to the taqueria in the next strip mall, ordered a taco dinner and had delicioua, hot, fresh food in less than 8 minutes. This is the last time I take a chance with this Taco Bell. Support local, independant restaurants instead and give your money to people who want to actually be at work and provide customer service. The drive thru girl should be written up and retrained. I was parked and about to enter the restaurant at 8:37pm, and it stated that the lobby closes at 11pm on Saturday with no other signs stating otherwise for COVID-19, yet there were 2 individuals who were smoking, while they left the restaurant unattended with customers still present in the drive-thru. There was one individual that was big, one that had curly hair. Wouldn't be surprised if it was a blunt they were smoking. Once they saw me and my family, they ran into the restaurant; turning off all the lights and locking the door. I was going to knock like what the frick, but didn't bother to waste my energy. So, I drove through the drive thru to order, then I see a driver in front of me drive off aggressively without ordering. So, when I was about to order KFC since the location was a Tacobell/KFC location, the comms attendent told me that it was "late night tacos only." I never heard that before, as I ordered multiple times from this location EVEN during the pandemic. I went into research, and no, never seen such a thing stated on the website. I tried multiple times to reason with the woman, but she kept childishly repeating "late night tacos only", as I hear her other friend giggling in the background. So, I left in a huff to find somewhere else to eat, as I hear them laughing their bums off through the comm. This happened on Saturday, September 19th of 2020 at 8:37pm. If management of the establishment sees this, I wish you do what is necessary to straighten out these two disrespectful, ignorant slackers. Read moreI went to this taco bell and a woman with pink hair took my order and didn't get my order right and gave me chicken tacos instead of potato soft tacos and she also never read off my order to me. she also started handing out orders without asking for order numbers and gave my order to the to somebody else SHE DIDNT EVEN CHECK THE BAG SHE JUST HANDED IT OUT. Like if the other customer didn't check the bag then we would've had to wait another 20 minutes for my food that wasn't even what I asked for. very undertrained cashier. she also looked under the influence because she couldn't not keep a straight face, also rubbing her face and didn't make any eye contact with any other customer she also got the customer in front of me order wrong as well even though she took 10 minutes rereading her order back to her. lady didn't even know what she put in the system and had to ask us for the receipt after we paid. if I was a manger there id definitely cut her hours or even terminate her. never coming back here again, I see other reviews suck too they should just shut down this location. no way they're just getting away with half assing someone's food that their paying and using their time for.
