Tacos El Jefe catered our daughters Quinceañera and also provided delivery. My husband stopped in one day since we live in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood he bought carnitas, arroz and salsa. That was all we needed to taste because the food was delicious, the salsa is fire! We went back as a family to buy different plates of food to taste test to see what options we might be able to cater for our event! We spoke with the owners they provided us with recommendations on how much food to order since we’ve never hosted so many people before and they were spot on with their recommendations! I tried this place twice! The first time was the Saturday before Easter and was charged twice for the Carnitas but was given a refund after showing the receipt to the cashier. We had taco plates that included rice and beans. The rice and beans were ok but barely room temperature and a small amount of diced meat on the tacos! Today I gave them another try and was disappointed again. I ordered the Menudo and Montalayo, the menudo did not come with tortillas or onions and cilantro and was extremely spicy. When I asked about the tortillas the guy who prepared my order just said "no tortillas " The Montalayo was just ok! I will not be returning and would not recommend...

My new taco spot! Delicious tacos at a reasonable price. Huge parking lot so there's never any problems with parking. Huge variety of tacos and other items. They serve guac and chips when you eat in versus other local taco shops that just serve Pico de Gallo. Off to a great start! Would only recommend more indoor seating and the parking lot is big enough to add an outdoor patio in the summer. (Side note, try to remove hide/remove the graffiti on the front window, maybe a window sticker of the logo? Such a beautiful restaurant but that kinda ruins...
