Decided to visit this place since it finally opened up in the neighborhood. Here's my take on the tamales.
Absolutely incredible tamales! I canât recommend this place enough. The tamales are packed with flavorâperfectly seasoned, with tender fillings and just the right texture in the masa. You can tell everything is made with love and authenticity. The green chile chicken and the sweet tamales were standouts, I will have to try out other options to give it a full review. I also tried the atole (guava), which was very good.
The staff was warm and welcoming, and the service was fast. Whether youâre a tamale enthusiast or trying them for the first time, this spot is a must-visit. I will definitely be coming...

The problem is, most places up north, the tamales are dry, donât have flavor, donât have enough meat and are really expensive- just to be disappointed. My bf and I decided to try it out as we walked by. We were not disappointed! The tamales were so delicious and a good price! Definitely coming back! So glad itâs close to home. I would admit, little music in there wouldnât hurt. Set the mood⌠other than that- LOVE THE TAMALES! Definitely going to be our go to place now! Canât wait to...
Read moreWas a proud fanatic of this place until I was given raw tamales. The young man gave me options I grabbed 24 total . He unravels a green one and tells me âthis one is cooked. Maybe they didnât all cook right. I can cook them for longer.â Mind you I lost two tamales at home already checking to see if theyâre raw plus now the one the young man unraveled. Couldnât replace them because after I came they sold out apparently which is odd because I just grabbed them less than maybe ten minutes ago.
I did get my money back but Iâm super disappointed on receiving raw food....
