Edit: Adding the star back because every time I've ordered since my review, they've gone out of their way to make sure my order was perfect and to make up for previous missing items. That's amazing customer service. Plus the best tasting sushi... 10 stars.

I ordered delivery through an app (didn't see delivery option on website). I took off one star because one item was missing, two of the rolls were not prepared according to instructions (to remove ingredients, not add, so it wasn't a cost issue), and the plating was very unusual (on an enormous catering tray, rather than individual containers like most places, lots and lots of unnecessary garnish, some of which I didn't recognize). I almost took away more stars for it, but I couldn't because this is absolutely some of the best sushi I have ever had. Like, ever in my entire 20 years of being obsessed with sushi and living in 3 states. Everything was appropriately sized and proportioned, the flavor was spot on and not fishy, soggy, or salty. I'm hoping the missed pieces were just the restaurant having an off night because I'd like to make this my go-to sushi spot forever. If this was one off night, I will gladly add back the remaining star...

We saw the article in Block Club on Wajo's new location and decided to come check it out. It was great! The owners, Joy and Won, were so sweet and hospitable, the space was clean and bright, and the sushi was wonderful.

We had the wasabi pea crunch roll, the hamachi dragon roll, and the mango roll. All of them were the perfect temperature, with fresh-tasting fish and an interesting combination of flavors, and generously sized. They have so many unexpected and creative options.

Joy took such good care of us: my husband doesn't like green onions and I love them, and she even took the time to put green onions on only one half of one of the hamachi roll! She also surprised us with a dish of tuna tartare, which was lovely and thoughtful.

I placed an order on Wajo's website for pick up at 7pm Wednesday april 30th no problem. Orde goes through and says it will be ready for pick up at 7:23. I head over and discover the store is completely closed down. Lights off looks like no one is home. I try to call their number and it tongs forever. Checked my bank account yep they took my money. Google says they are open until 830pm so what gives? Total scam of a place....
