Brickhaus Cafe — Restaurant in Jefferson

It’s just never not good. It’s consistently delicious, the staff is always awesome. My one and only complaint— wish they could be open for dinner, especially in the summer! I’d kill to be able to sit outside with my family and/or friends for great fresh sandwiches and salads for dinner. It’a impossible to find that around here in the evenings. But, I totally get that it’s a small business that hires exceptional staff and that level of staff can be hard to find to accommodate extended hours.

But seriously— this place is great. There’s nothing bad on the menu and I’m pretty sure I’ve tried it all at this point… but some absolute favorites are their breakfast items— can’t speak for the baked oatmeal, but the burrito and jalapeño popper panini are excellent, and I love the build your own breakfast sandwich option. Lunch wise— a Reuben wrap is my standby. I don’t know what they do to their wraps to get them delicious, but get one! The Brickhaus grilled cheese and their salads are also favorites. I love Brickhaus Cafe! It is my steady meeting spot with my long-time friend, where we get our favorite, scrumptious, twice-baked oatmeal and specialty drinks & where we are so comfortable we can chat for hours! Today, I brought a group of seniors from The Gathering Place in Milton to have breakfast and I heard rave reviews. The food was "great", drinks were "yummy" & the breakfast sandwiches were said to be"outstanding". I had the twice baked oatmeal and it was definitely up to standard! A great little place to stop at for coffee, breakfast, or lunch. Lots of solid sandwich and wrap options. I got a turkey sandwich with a wonderful chipotle Mayo sauce. You have the option to get either chips or carrots as your side for your meal. I had probably the best mocha of my life here, I would highly recommend it. The staff was very friendly and I liked the cute decor inside. We ate our lunch at a table right outside the entrance, which was very pleasant except for the wasps that kept flying at us.
