Red Line BBQ and Catering — Restaurant in Jefferson

After reading the many 5 Star reviews, we were eager to try 'Red Line BBQ'. According to the Facebook listing, they open at 11am on Saturdays. I also checked the website and found the hours were listed as Noon - 4pm on Saturdays. We drove up from Janesville just for lunch and decided to arrive at noon. Unfortunately they were closed. There was no sign on the door or information on the Facebook listing or the website indicating a change from normal hours. We peeked in the windows and there wasn't any sign of activity or anyone getting ready to open. Very disappointing to say the least and a waste of our time and gas. We wish we could be posting another 5 Star rating, but sadly, we left empty handed and hungry. Red Line BBQ catered for our wedding in Fort Atkinson, WI and it was a great experience. Mitch and his team were prepared and so helpful. We had a buffet and it went smoothly with all of our 160 guests being served in a very timely manner. The food was absolutely delicious. We received compliments from our guests and my husband was very excited about having leftovers to take home and eat. He said they had some of the best barbecue sauce that he’s ever had. Myself and the company I work for are hosting an RV show here in Jefferson and needed a last minute lunch spot to feed our employees. I called Red Line BBQ around 11:20am and hesitantly asked if they might be able to feed 15-20 people by lunch time. I walked out with roughly 20lbs of food before noon! I'm currently sitting around a table full of people and hearing "This mac and cheese is f** amazing!" and "Wow, this is seriously good brisket!"
