Felton Appliance — Local services in Jefferson

I used to buy from Felton’s many years ago. But then I got cheaper appliances from Coldiers Menards, American TV. Many more I can’t remember. But I got so burnt from these other places. I got lemons and no one could help me. The stores you buy from only sell these appliances. They DO NOT stand behind them or repair. It’s a nightmare going thru manufacturers. And that’s what you have to do. Plus all of them only lasted for less then 6 years. SO.... my washer went after not quite 6 years. I’m sick of this. Cheaper is definitely cheaper. You get what you pay. I went to Felton’s and they have all good appliances and any price you want. I don’t want the bells and whistles anymore I just want it to wash my clothes. There was so many options and the owner and his assistant were so great kind and informative. Told me what I needed to know. My washer is great. The 2 gentlemen that brought it set it up and made sure it was working. Cleaned up. Took my old one away. And Felton’s have a repairman. If I need it. Nothing like hometown service. NOT happy with Felton. Went to Felton on June 21, 2021 and purchased a Maytag dishwasher. The sales lady ordered our dishwasher, which we did pay for on that day, and said it would be coming in Monday June 28th. I did not receive a call on that date letting us know it came in, so I called Tues June 29th. I was told that my dishwasher did come in on the 28th but was given to another customer who had been waiting since February. Why was the dishwasher that we paid for and ordered specifically for us given to another customer? I am sorry this customer has been waiting since February, but that should not be our problem. Now we are being told that two more dishwashers will be available July 7th and depending on how quickly they are shipped to the store it will be another 7-10 days AFTER July 7th. So we will be waiting almost 4 weeks for a dishwasher we ordered and paid for and should already have. This is HORRIBLE customer service. I have always had great service with Felton in the past and have bought many appliances from them, but this is inexcusable to give the appliance that you ordered AND paid for to...

Short story. I bought a Frontload washer and dryer without the better half as she was out of town. The dryer didn't have the steam option that she liked so Dan ordered 1 which was an upgrade. He told us that the black Friday sale was in affect and it would be cheaper then the 1st one I ordered. Well delivery day came and the washer had been dented in the box at the factory. Not the delivery men. Well they didn't have the model I had ordered so I told the delivery guy s that if they had the upgraded model in stock I would take it and pay the difference. Not only did they go get it they came back with the new model number and installed everything. Great job by them. But the kicker is I went to pay for the upgraded washer and Dan said that it was 21.oo dollars more but not to worry it was a wash. That's customer service at its finest! I'd give them 20...
