So I am very disappointed with the customer service with this place and another El Nopal. My wife and I ordered through GrubHub because with all the craziness going on with the virus we were trying to not leave the house. Well, when GrubHub delivered our food, we did not receive the large queso we ordered. So I immediately called the restaraunt and he would not refund the queso but offered me an instore credit for queso, and I told him that didn't work for me because we live 20 minutes away and never ear at that El Nopal (that was the one our GrubHub driver was closest to). So I asked if he could have the credit transfered to our local store so we could go there and he didn't say anything rather he just hung up the phone. So I drove to our local one, and asked the manager if he can help and he refused to help me and told me I had to go over there. Well - I ended up making the twenty minute drive to get this darn queso and I asked the manager there if I could be compensated for the drive I had to make out there and because my food is now cold and he refused to help out in anyway. Didn't offer any sort of solution. What kind of customer service is that? I would never allow any employees who ever worked for me to treat customers in such a way. We ordered fajitas for two with chicken, steak, shrimp, and chorizo, but it didn't have chorizo. We asked to not be charged for what was missing, but they wouldn't reduce the check claiming that the combo without chorizo was the same price. Without the chorizo, the whole dish seemed flavorless so a small discount would have been more than reasonable. We were unable to point out the mistake to our server who didn't visit once the food was delivered. Another server (who eventually checked on us) and the cashier were unwilling to do anything to help. One of my containers was completely smashed in and most of my food was stuck to the lid. We paid for a large queso, but got a small. The chips were so gross. We ordered 2 bags and they tasted like they were from lastnight. You could smell the old grease on them. Not eatable. After $45 neither of us ate any of the food considering it literally tasted like it had just been sitting around for a couple hours. Complete WASTE of money. To spend almost $50 you would expect a much better experience… but in this case we were served old food , cold food & poorly prepared food.
