My friends have invited me to come out with them to the cigar bar, but I have not been able to go. My love is a cigar enthusiast, so we came Friday night. From the moment I stepped into Match Cigar Bar Jeffersonville, I knew I had found something special. The University of Louisville football game was on, and they were presently winning (they were 13-0 when we left a previous venue). The atmosphere is a perfect blend of sophistication and comfort, with warm lighting and everyone seemed relaxed and enjoying the experience of watching the game with their favorite cigar and/or cocktail. It was easy to interact others with this refined & classy vibe. Whether you’re a seasoned aficionado or just getting into cigars, this place offers something for everyone. I am not a cigar smoker; however, I have educated myself because he has an interest in a variety of cigars. The humidor is impeccably curated, with a wide range of premium cigars from renowned brands and hidden gems. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, always ready to recommend the perfect cigar to suit his taste. Their attention to detail and friendly service truly elevates the experience. What sets this place apart is the ambiance. The patio with flatscreens and a variety of seating options. The soft playing of music in the background, coupled with the rustic charm of the wooden patio decor, creates an environment that encourages conversation or quiet reflection. Then the owner, Jay, pulled out the grill. Me being myself, inquired about the grilling plans. As a psychiatric provider, it was refreshing to hear Jay explain that he was grilling to show appreciation for his staff. To my surprise, I was served everything he grilled for his staff including something “sweet!” I wish every manager would make the effort to show this type of appreciation to their staff. I would go work at Match Cigar Bar, but I have NO skill set with bartending or cigar curating. If you’re looking for a place to unwind after a long day, enjoy good company, or explore new cigars, Match Cigar Bar Jeffersonville is a must-visit. By chance, on my birthday, I found such a gem while in the Kentucky-Indiana area.

This cigar lounge is easily one of the best I’ve ever visited—not only for its impressive humidor (with a smartly connected independent operator and business; which you'd never know they are set up that way) but for the meticulous attention to detail and equal treatment of every customer.

The care and consideration given here are truly exceptional, and I highly recommend visiting if you're ever in the area.

Additionally, the outdoor seating area is a standout feature. With private booths perfect for quiet business meetings or intimate gatherings with friends, it offers a relaxing and inviting atmosphere.

They also host live entertainment, making it an ideal spot for a memorable evening. Kudos Jay well done and I'll see you soon....

Can't say enough good things about this place. Terrific atmosphere; the bartenders and whatever you call a person who sells you cigars are friendly and helpful. Incredible bourbon selection is second to none, and their mixed drinks are top-notch too. You won't stump them on your favorite mixology concoction. A decent single bourbon is around $8. Several draft beers on tap too.

Obviously, don't go in if smoke bothers you. There are no "non-smoking" sections. You can bring your own cigar, but doing that without buying a drink is considered rude. (Cigarettes are fine too, but I don't think they sell those).

You can sit at the bar, a table for larger parties, or kick back in one of many comfy...
