It was nice for someone passing through the area. Personally I used the "avoid highways" option in Google Maps, which ended up taking me through a few streets in the busy downtown area before dropping me off at the Bridge. This was nice because I feel like I was able to get a "vibe" of the downtown just by driving through.
Parking was easy. The people were a good mix of family and lone exercisers, and couples. It had a low+key vibe which I like. Something to note, I noticed several police officers which I guess helps for that safe feeling, but makes me wonder if it was unsafe at some point or perhaps some illegal activity going on. Anyways I felt very safe as a solo traveler.
