I am very frustrated with this location. I live right by it but after several bad experiences usually drive further to a different Taco Bell location just so I know I'll get quality food and service. Unfortunately, I made a mistake and went to this location today (the one in Rural King's parking lot). When I called, I even verified I was "talking with a manager and that I was also calling the correct location in Rural King's lot). The problem is the oil gets old or goes bad and you can't eat the taco shells. This has happened to me at this location 5 times, it's a waste of money if you cant' eat your food. It has never happened at any other location. I just called them frustrated at the disgusting shell which I cannot eat. I said "you all need to change your oil more often. "He said, "it's not the oil, it's the fryer, it burns our oil. We just changed it yesterday" So I told him it isn't always bad food, but many times it is, so it isn't the fryer's fault, but when the oil gets burned, it means it is old (that is why it is burning) and then you just need to change and if that means daily, then that is what you have to do because you can't serve bad food. So he tells me, "I'm testing the oil right now and it is so bad!" (his words, notice he put the word "so" in there. So not just "bad" but "so bad"). I said, "I know it is bad, I have it right in front of me and I can't even eat it". He said, well we can't change it every day, because Taco Bell won't let us and we have to go by their policy". I find this A LIE or it is RIDICULOUS. I have worked in fast food as a young one and I know the oil is to be changed every time it goes bad. We used to change ours daily and twice if need be. I don't believe that Taco Bell is telling them only change it every so many days whether bad or not. So I just told him the food is bad because the oil is bad. He told me, he changed it yesterday and Taco Bell won't let them change it daily. So what is he going to do the rest of the day? It's only 3:30pm. He is going to continue to serve burned food? He didn't even offer to give me a fresh salad. I told him, I wasted my money, I can't eat it, what should I do? , I can't eat what I paid for and all he said was, "I'm sorry about that ma'am! It's not our fault it's the fryer's fault." NO SIR, IT'S YOUR FAULT, IT'S TACO BELL'S FAULT! I have the food here, you can have it back, I want my money back and I'll go to the other location and get a fresh salad. But no luck! I'm stuck with it! He said he is the one who opened the store hint on who this poor manager is). I told him, okay then since you won't help me and you make no promise of improving the quality of your food, I'm writing a review. That didn't help either, no luck getting dinner out of this fella. Taco Bell Corporation, if you are reading this, know that you can hire me and I'll make DANG sure no one is served burnt food and if they ARE unhappy, I'll make it right. I won't ever go back to that location again for 1. It is an ongoing problem and 2. I made them aware of the problem and he has offered no resolution to ensuring the chance of a better future visit nor did he offer a fresh salad, coupon in the mail or refund. Slo want to mention, they have screwed up on my food several times. If you order a drink only with no food, they usually just hand it to you free in the drive thru. While many may like the thought of a free drink, I find it to be stealing unless they, themselves own the company. And many times the line is soo long here, it is RIDICULOUS. Unlike you'll find other places. YOU LOST ME! p.s. they were out of Diet Pepsi, second day in a row. Who runs out of stuff? I mean, you see it is getting low, you order more. It's...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe young man that took our order was very nice and courteous. Believe he was in training. He was very patient while we looked over the menu board. The woman who was training g him, believe she was a manager due to her outfit being different. She was rather loud and somewhat obnoxious. We went on to our table and sat away from others so that it would not be too loud. While we were eating we here the same woman, in a loud voice, say "no, I'm not ratting anyone out."Plus several other things but could not make it out. Then the restaurant starts getting louder. We looked around to see if a crowd had come. No, it was several employees (apparently on break or clocked out)talking to the parents of one of the workers. My husband and I were sitting side by side and could barely here each other over employees on the other side. Threw away our drinks and had finished our food to get out of there. When we went out to our car the employee (whose parents were there to eat with him - which we thought was nice) was outside by the very front door and smoking. Glad we went out the side. Just think restaurants should co sider their clients. My husband is blind and we heard one of them saying, "If you can't see why would you need to hear?"Sure he didn't notice my husband but some people might have been very embarrassed by...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA large group of us have been eating at this Taco Bell after church for a while now but a couple Sundays ago we came in and were eating when we heard an employee complaining loudly because someone had made a mess under one of the tables (a small child had been eating there previously and had made the mess). He continued to make derogatory comments about CHRISTians and how they make messes in the store and praise JESUS in the church....whaaat?!? I'm not sure who he was wanting to hear his comment but several of us did!! I went up to the counter afterwards to ask him about it and find out his name so I could contact someone higher up about the behavior and he claimed to be the Store Manager, said his name was Josh. He made no effort to apologize for his behavior and matter of factly seemed proud of himself for it. Needless to say, you've lost a pretty good size of business for Sundays as we will be giving our business to someone else in the future. I will be contacting corporate about this also. If you wanna be in management Josh, conduct yourself accordingly. Also the gal at the cash register seemed very sad (depressed?), never really looked at us...I felt so bad for her! I have no idea what she has going on in her life (maybe work? Don't know). I actually said a prayer for her while I was...
