Nice clean Well Organized and we'll appointed Lego reseller shop. With a good selection of used sets for reasonable prices. The big deference is the set-up. These folks are doing a great job making it a good bit easier to find the bricks your looking for. With bulk bricks sorted into simple categories on several tables, and very nice Very comfortable stools. You can spend hours sorting with no back pain. They roll so freely it's like you're floating on air. The staff and the patrons are friendly, and Lego savvy. It seems like the kind of place that would soon be welcoming you by name, and reminding you that Lego problems are all the same. ;)
It's kind of a trick to get into the lot but for a hobby store that's pretty much what you expect. The fact that they're located on my side of the river certainly makes up for that. The one thing I did notice is the bags are a bit smaller, but the price per bag is smaller too. All in all it is likely I'll be making MoB a regular part of...
Read morei visited the store twice, one time to see what they had to offer and the second time i bought a $20 bag of bricks. you would think the person behind the counter at that time would be more helpful all he did was sit at the counter and try and build a lego set, and when he was asked a question (do you have any any 1x2 plates and was clueless when i said part #3023) his response was "it's over there somewhere", a lady came in with her son and was looking for the lightsaber for his star wars minifig, she asked him and his response was "it's over there somewhere" so i told the lady she can go on lego under replacement parts or she could go on bricklink and he acted like i was taking business away from him. i was like wow.i only met the one employee so i hope the next time i visit there will be someone with a little better interaction and knowledge with customers and not make you feel uncomfortable. the store is nice and set up decent a good variety of used bricks from...
Read moreMoved here a few years ago and i had low expectations of a non-official lego store but this place is the literal best! I like to go there sometimes to check out the minifigures but they have a wide variety of products there. From sealed sets to pre-assembled models, a ton of minifigures, a little area to make your own minifigures, and to top it all off they have really well organized bin-table things to search for pieces. Sometimes my cat will do some mischief and parts of my display sets will go missing but every time i have been able to go here and get the parts i need in under 5 minutes. Recently i saw this MOC of the Iron Giant online so i printed a parts list and came here. I was able to find nearly all pieces i needed to make this thing. I had to settle for a few wrong colored pieces while i wait for an online order but from this set that has roughly 850ish pieces i was able to source all but 13 here. Highly recommend supporting...
