For those that don't shop at aldi, it's a German owned grocery store chain that is set up in the most basic way possible. They carry practically all the essentials and the prices are reliably low. I find anything i buy here to be as cheap or cheaper than the comparable item would be on sale at another grocery store. Many of the products dont carry the typical American name brands you're used to but I have never been dissatisfied with the quality or taste of the food. One of the main reasons I love to grocery shop here, besides saving money, is that it's a huge time saver for me. The streamlined layout, smaller store, and limited choices mean I can be in and out in less than 30 minutes, and that's weekly grocery shopping for a family of six. No comparing prices, no coupons, no checking whether the sale item is actually a better deal than the other brand and so on. And my grocery bill is still always less here than anywhere else. By limited choices I don't mean that they won't have everything you need, just that there's only one brand in each item. For example, one brand of ketchup or green beans or milk, etc. There is still a nice variety and except for a very few specific items that I insist on buying a particular brand of, they have everything. I also like the seasonal items. There is an aisle of non grocery items that changes seasonally and often there area some nice products at great prices. Some of the food items are seasonal also so you do have some variety in what's available. They dont bag your groceries for you and if you don't bring your own bags you have to buy theirs. I actually don't mind this, as I've found I prefer to bag my own...

Why do I go?
Why I don' t go?
I've never had an issue with this location before, but felt I should share what happened today & hope others are cautious..My bfs mother bought a pork roast. She got it home & opened it & it was beyond rancid. Again, never had any issues so she bagged it up & took it back. They refunded her money but made her pay $2 for a replacement..ok, not ideal customer service but whatever..She does, gets it home..& it's worse than the first one!! Like it had been sitting in a hot car for a week.. She went back again, the 3rd one was fine but the Sell By Date was different/newer..If anyone sees Pork Roasts with a Sell By Date of Aug 24 2018 DO NOT BUY THEM..Snap a picture, & send it to corporate because they should not still be on the shelf. I hope they have been pulled because this wasn't just 1 bad one in a batch obviously & that they would show their customers some consideration..but I'm alittle worried & don't want someone to go through the same fiasco we did today, or accidentally feed their family bad meat (granted we could smell it right off, but I've second guessed myself before in a rush, thought I was just being paranoid, etc..).. or even have one in their fridge right now & not know till your mid making dinner..Again, I'm not bashing the store. Mistakes happen.. I just thought it should be made public so no...
