A Hidden Gem for a Midday Coffee Break
After a heavy lunchâseveral ounces of brisket near the RiverwalkâI was feeling sluggish. I needed something to help me power through the last four hours of work, and what better pick-me-up than a good cup of coffee? As I was leaving Jenks, I spotted a coffee house that almost felt like it had been placed there just for me, right when I needed it.
Now, walking in, I did feel a little out of place. Dressed in my work attireâconstruction gear and allâI knew I wasnât the typical customer. Letâs be honest, most construction workers get their coffee at a gas station. But once youâve had good coffee, itâs hard to settle for the convenience of burnt, watered-down fuel. So I didnât mind standing out, and to my surprise, the barista didnât make me feel out of place either. She was friendly, informative, and welcomingâsomething I always appreciate.
As I waited for my coffee, I took a look around. This wasnât just a coffee shop; it was a charming little house filled with interesting gifts and knick-knacks. Yes, Iâll admit itâI ended up buying something for my wife. Each room in the house had its own character, and the outdoor seating area was inviting. If you donât mind what Oklahoma considers a "breeze"âwhich, at 25 mph, feels more like natureâs way of testing your grip strengthâyou can enjoy your coffee outside in a relaxed, almost downtown-like atmosphere.
Next time, I might come dressed a little differentlyâjust so I donât get mistaken for the yard crew. But even if I do, Iâll be back. Because at the end of the day, itâs all...
Read moreMojoâs Coffee Shop & Mercantile is more than a coffee shop â itâs a ministry in motion.
Our church group recently met at Mojoâs, and we were absolutely blessed by the entire experience. The outdoor seating area was perfect for fellowship â shaded, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed for gathering. You can feel the heart behind this place the moment you arrive.
The coffee was top-notch, with something for everyone. From fun flavors to solid classics, every drink was made with care. The staff was welcoming and kind â it felt like visiting old friends.
But the real gem? The Mercantile. Itâs filled with beautiful, meaningful products made by missionaries and artisans around the world â and 100% of the profits go back to them. Shopping there doesnât just support a small business; it supports global ministry. What an incredible mission.
We are so thankful for spaces like Mojoâs â where coffee meets community, and faith meets action. Weâll definitely be back!
Picture your group in their beautiful outdoor space!

Read morethe chai is like weak cinnamon milk and the scone i got was definitely interesting. if you donât LOVE rosemary do not get the scone- it was genuinely like i was eating an exceptionally crumbly sprig of rosemary. also this is a very jesus-y place, and i didnât see that mentioned online so if thatâs not your vibe maybe take that into consideration. while i was there i noticed the jesus signs on the wall and for sale (no hate! just wasnât expecting it!) and could hear a kinda loud bible study group. not my favorite, but maybe youâd be into it!
(my opinion isnât based on the jesus thing, itâs based on what i got which was underwhelming (chai) and overwhelming (scone) and the atmosphere which was bright as well as kinda disjointed and cramped, while also louder than i expected. the staff was...
