Angel Azul holds a special place in my heart, as it's been a cherished bakery in my life since childhood. Countless memories of weekends spent here with my family flood my mind, making each visit a trip down memory lane. One of the things I love most about Angel Azul is its affordability without compromising on quality. The prices are incredibly reasonable, making it accessible to all, and the food is simply delicious. For breakfast, I highly recommend trying the "El Desayuno Regular con Papa Casera." It's a classic dish that never disappoints, with the home fries adding a comforting touch. And let's not forget about their coffee—it's a true standout. In fact, I dare say it rivals, if not surpasses, the coffee you'd find at Starbucks. Whether you're looking to indulge in fond childhood memories or create new ones with loved ones, Angel Azul is the perfect spot. With its welcoming atmosphere, affordable prices, and mouthwatering food, it's a bakery that never fails to leave a...
Read moreThis review is based solely on the food items and offerings. Not decor. They have a very nice selection of baked items. They also sell coffee, juices and rice pudding. I’m not Colombian, so I enjoy trying the different assortments. My go-to are the bunuelo, which is a round brown ball that has cheese baked inside. However, you wouldn’t know that because it’s not cheesy or stringy. The pastilles de guayaba (guava puff) is so flaky sweet with just the right amount of guava jelly inside. The Colombian empanadas come with their type of hot sauce on the side. Colombian empanadas have generous amount of potato and meat combined. I’m not a fan of the other empanadas they offer because it has very little meat and the dough is greasy. Mostly all baked items range between $.80-$1.20. Unbeatable pricing. They have little tags for every item so that a non Spanish speaker can try to order without facing too much difficulty. The counter staff are friendly but speak...
Read moreI go here in the morning to get breakfast all the time. I ordered an iced coffee they put a splash of coffee filled with an entire cup of milk. I ask for less milk they say it will cost me more to have a full cup of coffee when what I ordered was literally an iced coffee. Then they gave me half assed iced coffee they didn’t remake it they dumped part of the cup out, added whatever coffee was left in the pot then gave it to me. I said this isn’t a full cup they I have to pay extra for a full cup. Terrible service I go here almost every other day and will not be returning. Management is rude and...
