I love this place but I showed up one early morning with my friend at about 1:30am and the doors were locked which we thought was weird because we’ve been there even later on other occasions. A guy who I haven’t seen working there before opens a window to take our orders which was also new, but I figured with covid and everything maybe they’re just limiting contact. We ordered a 2 chicken over rice with white sauce, and asked for the student discount that they have always provided to SPU college kids, and the guy told us that they no longer do that promotion. I paid for both mine and my friends meals which surprisingly came to $20 flat. Read moreHeaded home around 11:30 pm saw this spot and stopped for chicken. The two guys at the counter were so kind. There were only 4 pieces left, and one guy offered to make me fresh pieces if I could wait 20 minutes. I told him to bag the 4 thighs which cost me about $6 if I'm not mistaken. Got in the car, took a bite and almost burnt my mouth. It was hot, juicy, crispy and delicious.
My second visit which was around 1pm on a weekday was a little different. The two guys behind the counter were just as nice the chicken was just as crispy and flovorful but It was a little dry and it wasn't hot.
Good customer service , clean atmosphere, overall good chicken, and even...

However the baklava was a rip off ($2 baklava was literally the size of half a cucumber slice), and the sauces were terrible. I'm pretty sure the white sauce was cheap ranch dressing, and the harissa may very well have been Louisiana hot sauce with a few seasonings thrown in. It was our first time ordering, so perhaps they're cutting corners during the pandemic, but if so that's going too far. Remove the baklava from the menu if it's too expensive to keep making or buying, and give out less sauce rather than several containers of sauce...
