The Drip Paint & Sip Studio — Local services in Jersey City

Let me say this, this place has major potential. The environment supersedes the actual experience. The space is nice and nicely decorated; however, the experience simply wasn’t! Unfortunately, it was the worst paint and sip experience that I’ve had. We were a private group and asked to come a few minutes early to mingle and get setup and they said no (okay cool) but when we arrived on time they wanted to rush us to paint instead of eating as originally agreed. The DJ wasn’t considerate of the crowd (it was his party). We sent request (appropriate ones) but he didn’t play NOT ONE SONG REQUEST. He stayed playing what HE wanted to hear (old old oldies) At one point he took a break so I played music from my phone. Then the music was so loud at another point that we couldn’t even hear the instructor. The instructor didn’t seem to be really invested. She didn’t mind eating the food we prepared and shared with her but then tapped her watch to remind us of her two hour timeframe. She changed the picture we selected last minute. I’ve been to plenty of paint and sips. We wanted fun painting and a fun night…if that’s what you are looking for this is not it. Hopefully, this will be seen as a review for growth and not as hard criticism towards the establishment. This place brings paints and sip to a whole different level. I went one night with my boyfriend to this establishment so we can have a relaxing evening of fun and sips. Upon arrival we were greeted by the host and the artist and they gave us such a vibrant and welcoming vibe. The atmosphere was delightful and the room was covered with such beautiful paintings to really set the tone. There was another group of 6-7 ladies that was having their own separate event and they was wonderful as well. We was engaging in conversation and they actually kept offering me and my other half food and drinks which we found to be so sweet and really made us feel included in their gathering as they were celebrating one of the ladies birthday. This place really brings people together to share their fun celebratory moments with one another. The owner herself is so friendly and wholesome and I love how she made this experience one I’ll never forget. 10/10 I would for sure recommend to my friends and love ones for a night they will...

I have been to a few paint and sip events but I was blown away with The DRIP. This place is AMAZING!!! First the decor is beautiful and creates an artistic environment. The owner is professional and very welcoming. There is a DJ that plays all types of music and was very entertaining. The paint instrument did an amazing job at keeping everyone engaged and was helpful especially when needed. I strongly recommend you attend this place whether it’s by yourself or with a group.
