This review breaks my heart to write. We’ve been loyal customers for over 15 years—hosting both of our sons’ graduation parties here, along with countless family and neighborhood dinners. Sadly, the quality has declined, and after tonight, we’ve decided not to return. We came in to plan our daughter’s graduation dinner. The restaurant was 81 degrees inside. I mentioned it to our server, who said she had already told the manager and was told “it’s on.” It was uncomfortable the entire time. There was only one young waitress handling two tables. Service was disorganized. I ordered mozzarella caprese—received mozzarella sticks. Ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio—received a hot glass of wine. Asked for Parmesan cheese—was given mozzarella. When I asked again, she brought out a massive kitchen bowl of Parmesan, which we served ourselves from. A few minutes later, she took that same bowl back to the kitchen—a food safety concern. Water glasses were empty; she didn’t offer refills. We had to ask, and instead of using a pitcher, she took each glass and returned them mixed up. The food was still good, but the service, hot environment, and loud music that didn’t fit the ambiance made it an unpleasant experience. The owner wasn’t there—maybe that’s why things were off. We won’t be hosting our party here, and unfortunately, we won’t be coming back. I sincerely hope things improve.

First of all I would like to say this place here uses fresh ingredients and I could tell by the delicious taste of freshness as well as my lack of heart burn after I consumed a dish that had red sauce in it. Processed food Always gives me indigestion. Also the portions here are generous too. The Salad was fresh as well and the dressing must be homemade. Their Caesar dressing is Perfecto. The menu pricing is affordable and beats Olive Garden if you are into chain restaurants. The server Chris was very polite and also a great example of what a waiter should be like which means he brought everything to the table exactly as we requested and this included the extra dressings. Needless to say I am quite impressed by this establishment. Even the owner came to our table, greeted us and made us feel welcome. This place has an authentic feel and taste to it. If you enjoy Italian food regularly or enjoyed it in the past but avoided it now since your diet couldn't agree with it due to a lot of restaurants serving processed foods with inferior ingredients it would be about time to give Luigi's a try. You won't be disappointed and it won't cost you a 2nd mortgage on your house. I know I definitely will return here to try more menu items. This place should be on anyone's place to dine at or get pick up the next time you are considering Italian Food for your next dining experience

Came her for Valentines dinner with my husband. 1st time trying the place and upon walking in we could tell it was a family owned restaurant with a cute old school Italian vibe. Lots of families were eating so it's a good place for groups and small kids. The service wasn't the best but they were swamped and it was mostly kids working. It took about 10 to 15 minutes after we were seated for a server to come to the table but she did apologize and tried her best to give great service even though the servers and the kitchen were swamped. All the food was super fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the calamari in the spicy marinara and the chicken parmesan. And even though we didn't order it the pizza looked really good. Overall good experience and we look forward to going back.

This was my first visit here. We went to visit our sister’s birthday. Jonathan was our waiter. No greeting, no suggestions and no smile! We were the only ones in there for about 45 minutes but it did get busy after. There is only ONE waiter. Not sure if this is how it is always staffed or others were sick. It is a smaller restaurant, but you would probably still need at least two waiters or waitresses. The food looks like it could be frozen or premade, but it is not hot at all when it arrives to your table. I ordered meatballs and a salad. The salad comes with only lettuce and shredded carrots. If you want to add tomatoes and cucumbers, and any other topping, it is extra which I chose to get. The lettuce was crisp. The dressing was good. They also bring you loaves of bread that were hot when they came out, my meatballs arrived in a small bowl, which looks like what appeared to be either plain Ragu or tomato sauce. The meatballs had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. I only ate one and left the other. The other dishes that came out were spaghetti with meat sauce again was warm not hot. No flavor at all , others order fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and the chicken looks like it was just frozen and microwaved or put in the oven. The Alfredo sauce looks so thick and they as well said had no flavor. My other sister order a pizza which I thought would be OK but no. I don’t know if they only have one cook, and the cook is overwhelmed or slow, but the food none of it was hot. Refills Were very slow at one point I had to ask for a refill of my water four times. Each time he would say OK but nothing ever showed up. There was a young lady there. I asked her if I can get some water and we can get some refills and also get some more bread. I told her we had asked several times and were not able to get refills from our waiter. She walked over to the table, grabbed some glasses without so much as I’m sorry or a word at all. She came back a few minutes later, put the glasses on the table and walked away again without so much as a I’m sorry or a word. When it came time to get the checks again, it took a long time to get them. It took almost 20 minutes after asking. I am not sure if they had an off night or just understaffed, but I will not be back there to visit again. It seems to be a small family business. I am not sure how long they have been in business. It seems to be a favorite of older people as they were probably about 20 tables in the establishment and out of those 16 more than 3/4 or older people. I understand it’s a hard time for a lot of restaurants and a lot can be understaffed. With that being said politeness, goes a long way, but when you blatantly seem like you don’t want to be there or you don’t care about your customers it’s not...

This was my first time here. My boss wanted lunch from this spot for her birthday, so I made the trip. We planned to eat around 11:30 AM, and since I had to drive a little over 30 minutes to get there, I started calling at 10:05 AM to place a large order for 11 people. Unfortunately, no one answered until 10:43 AM.

The order was a bit complicated—mostly Caesar salads and Fettuccine Alfredos with a few variations (some with chicken, some with shrimp), and one additional chicken dish. I explained I was on my way and that it would take me about 30 minutes to get there.

When I arrived, the order wasn’t ready, even though there were no other patrons in the restaurant at the time. I paid, then started reviewing the itemized ticket and noticed several discrepancies. I pointed them out, and the young man assisting me voided the original transaction and re-rang everything correctly. Still, I had to wait longer for the food.

By the time I returned to the office, it was 12:25 PM. This delay caused scheduling issues for several coworkers who were counting on eating by 11:30-ish.

As for the atmosphere—someone else had mentioned the restaurant was too warm (81 degrees), but during my visit, the thermostat read 66 when I arrived and was up to 68 by the time I left. I was standing by the bar waiting for my order, and the thermostat was right there, so maybe that issue has been fixed since her visit.

As far as I know, everyone's order was correct. If not, no one complained! I ordered the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo but requested broccoli instead of pasta. They packed the chicken and broccoli in separate containers—I would’ve been fine with one, but it worked. The Alfredo sauce was thick and so good—definitely the highlight!

That said, for 11 meals, they only gave about 5 or 6 utensil sets, and the same number of cheese containers. That was a little disappointing given the size of the order. We also received 5 or 6 loaves of bread, plenty!!!

The young man who helped me was polite and professional throughout.

One suggestion: I wish they had a menu available on their own website. Right now, you have to use Uber Eats or a delivery app to see the menu.

All in all, the food was great, and if I lived nearby, I’d definitely be back. But coming from Katy—or almost Galveston where I live—makes it tough. Still, if you’re in the area, I’d say...

My experience: Luigi's has good food, but even with advance notice they are just not set up to handle a large group for a special occasion.

Several weeks ago we planned a big (approx 40 people) family lunch in their party room. I met with the manager a week in advance and made arrangements to have appetizers served starting 11:30 for an hour, then have orders taken from a limited menu which he suggested. People arrived as scheduled, but the first of the appetizers did not come out until around 12:15. There was only one waiter working the group and it was apparent he was not accustomed to handling a large group. The service was very, very slow. Drinks were not refilled regularly and I kept having to ask, and even then many people did not get their drinks refilled. Once orders were finally taken, they were very slow coming out of the kitchen. By the time the last of the group had meals served, the first ones were done eating. The atmosphere was quaint, and all of the food served was very good. But unfortunately the experience was not good for the group because of the late appetizers, slow service, and lack of something to drink. In addition, the air conditioning did not seem to be working well as the room was uncomfortably warm which made the situation even worse. At the end of the meal, I talked with the manager and let him know I was less than pleased with the experience. He shrugged his shoulders and said that unfortunately for him, he didn't have enough help. It did not stop him from adding 20% gratuity to the bill which just didn't seem right for the level of service. I will not use Luigi's for a large...
