Miyabi Sushi Japanese Restaurant — Restaurant in Jersey Village

The quality of food has gone down in my opinion since about 2022. I have tried to remain a consistently supportive customer but it is hard when the quality goes down while pricing rises. I typically order the Miyabi Hibachi which comes with mixed veggies that includes onions. I started asking for no onions because it seems they cut up a half of an onion and give you mostly that and less of the other veggies: broccoli, zucchini, carrot and mushroom. When I order without the onion, I get mostly broccoli only as if they picked out everything and just threw in broccoli to satisfy the veggies that should be in the dish. So, I switched it up and ordered the curry. Well, this was delivered to my home without the vegetables in the sauce. When I called about it, I was told the vegetables melted into the sauce. No lie! Later they called me back to say it was an error and comped me, but still…The final incident was when I received burned spring rolls on my last order. Since this is all delivery, it’s not like I can easily send it back. When I called to discuss it, they were immediately defensive and I said I had pics (nowhere to add the pic here). I’m done. I’ve tried being supportive but I can tell the chef has changed and the food quality and they’re apparently ok with that while I am not. If I spend my hard earned money, I have the reasonable expectation of fresh, not...

Awesome food here. I went with a close friend and had a caterpillar roll, a sexy mama roll and two individual pieces of Unagi sushi. We also had their calamari to start. The calamari came out and looked a little heavy on the batter at first but with one bite that fear was alleviated by very fresh calamari along with the perfect amount stuffed in there. Nice light and crunchy breading. The chili sauce that came with it was awesome as well and really makes the whole dish stand out.

The caterpillar roll was really really tasty. You can tell they used perfectly ripe avocados and really fresh fish all around. Awesome eel sauce too.

The sexy mama roll was unlike anything I've tasted in a roll. A sharp punch of flavor to begin with then a wonderful array of textures and flavors until you get to a really nice aftertaste with a little bit a spice to it. Really delightful roll.

Their Unagi was awesome as well. Really good eel quality and their eel sauce is tasty.

Awesome friendly and fast service to accompany this great meal. Will be coming back next time...

I love coming here or ordering in! As always their freebie appetizer and dessert are always tasty. Especially this time! The mango ice cream was delicious and creamy.

This was also my first time getting ramen, because I normally always order sushi, stir fry noodles or bento boxes. Which, of course, are always delicious too!

My husband ordered the spicy tonkatau ramen and he enjoyed his fully. Ate everything and drunk all the broth. The ramen I ordered was the miso flavor, with some spice. The charred pork was juicy and was easy to bite/chew into. My green onions, mushroom, egg, rice cakes and other toppings were great. Nothing over powered anything. The broth was smooth and delicious. I really enjoyed that mushroom too though. Packed a lot of flavor 😋 And the chili topping was just the right amount of spice 👌

Miyabi is definitely in my top five now. The plus side is, it’s way closer to home compared to the other well known ramen places in Houston. I’m so glad I finally tried it. Should of ordered...
