My Bar — Restaurant in Jersey Village

Before I wrote this review I wanted to be clear headed. I needed to make sure I wasn't judging the bar just on the "HORRIBLE" Service of the Young, Disrespectful, Poor Atitude, On her phone all the time female bartender. Now mind you, the Poker Players warned us that she's a horrible person all around and will not take care of people. Remember, I was warned. Well, im thinking no one can be that bad! I was warned. I tried tipping in advance for what I hope to bridge the gap. Well, about 3 weeks ago my wife and I attended free poker hosted by Mark. Great guy, btw. It's probably the only reason there are people there, but they've lost alot of those patrons to. So on this particular Superbowl Sunday, I sat at the bar to order a drink while playing poker,, another guy stood next to me, we waited & waited...and 2 Caucasian females sat to the left of us, 2 Caucasian men to the right of us. She bypassed us again and gave them immediate attention. Look, if it looks like a duck, quack like a duck...than it's a duck! So, the gentleman and I were speaking to each other about what just took place and she immediately dove into our conversation, "This is a neighborhood bar, we serve who we want, we don't want you here anyway...you can leave!" You are old anyway! Both age & racial discrimination. So, after that we had a few choice words and my wife and I left. Believe me there are better places to spend my hard earned money at and it won't be here. Maybe this will fall on deaf ears , but I hope not. Remember, " You are...

My brother and I stopped in here a little while ago. New to the area and saw mostly good reviews on the place. However, I had the complete worst experience I've ever had at a bar. They will not serve you if they suspect you have already been drinking. ??? I get it someone is PLASTERED, but I had 3 beers before we went to My Bar. My buddy had a bit more, so he was just gonna drink water. They smelt alcohol on my breath so they refused to serve me. Again... ???????? And they refused to serve my brother WATER. Said we were drunk and needed to leave.

Why have a bar if you won't serve alcoholic beverages? That makes ZERO sense to me. And they wouldn't even help my brother out by giving him water when that's all he asked for...

The bartender in question was a young foreign girl. Russian? Scandinavian? Not 100% sure. She was the one behind the negative things I've said. It's absolutely despicable. Her excuse was that she didn't want to lose her liquor license. I had THREE beers. My brother just wanted water.

One of the managers tonight (4/1/24) was drunk and verbally abusive towards me. He left without incident, but if he ever put his hands on me, I'd would definitely press charges on him and in court He was Unpleasant, unprofessional, indecent, abusive, ugly , disgusting, vile and weak. No woman deserves to be abused in anyway, shape or form. This is ugly but I'm letting everyone know. ..
