I ordered a pizza online at 8:20PM and the estimated time the email said was 10-20 minutes. I arrived around 8:50 only to find out 20 minutes later that the workers did not have my pizza AT ALL. I just happened to overhear them say that they don't know where the pizza is and that they lost it. The worker claimed that she made the pizza. This is unacceptable. They did not even tell me that they lost my pizza until 30 minutes after I have been waiting. Finally they tell me and then decide to make a new pizza. What sense does that even make?! If I have been waiting for 20 minutes and the order was put in 50 minutes ago, you know you messed up and either you forgot to make the pizza or someone took it. That worker should have taken the initiative to make a new pizza after I had been waiting for 10 minutes, already 40 minutes past the approximate time. Keep in mind all this wait while there were not that many orders to fill. This is ridiculous. They need to adopt a better online ordering system and fire their incompetent employees. Every single time I order at Papa Johns online it never fails to take over an hour to receive a pizza that takes 5 minutes to make. Domino's got the clue that customers want to know exactly when their pizza is done and ready for pickup, I'm surprised they haven't gotten that clue yet. NOBODY likes to wait for something that should have been...
Read moreFor a long time, we used to order PJ's consistently, with our orders normally including 60 Chicken Poppers. We would call the restaurant and ask for the 60 Poppers, but since the relegated FOUR dipping sauces for 60 poppers is RIDICULOUS, we'd speak to the manager and would normally get a few more sauces thrown in. We stopped ordering when the orders were missing poppers. Weird, I know. Think about how we felt wondering where the X numbers of poppers went. ANYWAY, tonight we phoned and again, asked for some extra sauces or to speak to a manager. (I said we'd like the four the order came with, we'd pay for four, and would like four to be thrown in). The girl was insistent on not giving us the sauces, nor putting a manager on.
SO, they lost not only the business tonight, kept 60 poppers IN their inventory instead of moving them, and lost potential repeat business over FOUR sauces??? Genius. I simply do not understand companies that spend MILLIONS or more on advertisements to get people TO their restaurants, only to lose them at the door. Why not train someone in different scenarios, or better yet, hire people with common sense enough to understand Economics 101?
EDIT: I just read through some other comments regarding the delivery experience, and maybe I actually came out ahead NOT having...
Read moreI ordered two toppings medium size pizza. Simple order. One was pepperoni & bacon the other one was pineapple & pepperoni. First, the time it took to deliver was ridiculous. I live 5 min away and it took almost an hour to be deliver the pizza. Once it arrived I quickly look over the pizza and it seemed to be right, once i went inside my house and opened both boxes completely it was very upsetting that they were incorrect. The pepperoni pizza had only one topping (of course, pepperoni...) the other pizza had barely pieces of pepperoni and no pineapple at all! Since my kid loves pepperoni and pineapple I called to see if there was any way i could get a new pizza without having to leave my house because I had one kid already sleeping. When the guy answered the phone he gave two option which both require me to go to the store and show them that they were incorrect orders. I of course had to eat up my anger and discomfort, it is upsetting that after taking along time they cooked it incorrect. I would not order from this place anymore it is pricey and not worth it if they are delivering/cooking pizza this way....! I have attached the so called pepperoni and pineapple... after my kids ate two pieces these are the left overs.. Do you see any pepperoni?...
