Horrible experience left me dumbfounded!
I've been going to Canes for years cause I like the food but this evening was left with a negative impression that will be hard to shake.
To begin with I ordered meals totaling about $24 both came with drinks but I asked for an additional cup for water, not an unusual request. The cashier keyed in the water and I was charged 23¢, what? For a 6 oz white Styrofoam cup? I just spent $24 at what I would consider a premium fast food joint, until now, this is just petty and exactly what I would expect if I was in the mall food court and has forever cheapened my view of Raising Canes. All of your competitors have happily given me a water cup upon request. Ok, so back to the order, I got one meal with lemon aid for an up charge at my daughters request, I asked if that included refills and was told yes. I'm new to the lemonade although I have been to Canes plenty, 70 visits on my club card not including the years back in Lafayette when I had no card and all the times I forget to swipe it at point of sale, as if that means anything, there is no customer loyalty program to speak of. Anyhow, finishing up the meal, I asked my son if he would mind going up for a lemonade refill. He came back and said he needed 80 something cents, being a bit surprised I went up and asked the cashier to confirm and sure enough there is a charge for a refill. Fair enough if I was aware but that is why I specifically asked at time of purchase. I reminded the cashier that I asked about this earlier and she said refills were included. She insisted that I must pay. I then spoke to the manager and although she acknowledged that there was a misunderstanding, insisted that she would not be giving me any free refill. Smug or adversarial would best describe her demeanor. I'm sure she was just doing her best to uphold Canes top notch customer service, by the book, you know, the chapter, "Loss Prevention, How to Handle the...
Read moreI came through the drive thru around 7:44pm and visited Raising Cane’s located at 6015 Hwy. 6 N. Houston, Tx 77084 I bought 2 Caniac Combos with 2 Large sweet teas, requested 2 Extra cane’s sauces 0.37 cents EACH, then paid for 2 Extra toasts 0.85 cents EACH, and also 2 Coleslaws 0.85 cents EACH. I go to the window and pay for my order $32.19 (which I believe to be OVERPRICED for 2 meals)🙄🙄🙄. I kindly requested a cup of ice, the employee tells me I have to pay for a CUP OF ICE!!!. I asked to talk to a Manager, then RENE (the Night shift Manager) comes with an EXTREMELY RUDE ATTITUDE 🗣🗣🗣 and screams to me: “Yes, we have to charge you for Ice, cause it’s a product, and our ice is very special kind of ice, so we do have to charge”. I told him, but I’m a customer that’s spending over $32.19 worth of Raising Cane’s food, and you can’t even as COURTESY offer a FREE CUP OF ICE???. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ You’re saying you also have to charge me for a CUP OF ICE??? This doesn’t make any sense to me!!!. I was going to buy a whole Gallon of sweet tea, but because of this Manager and his RUDE attitude, and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I left, and I will never recommend anyone to come to this location. They charge you for Ice, Water, Sauces, Coleslaw, Toasts, Empty cups, they will even charge you for the OXYGEN YOU BREATHE while in their store!!!. Totally ridiculous!!!. Employees are Extremely RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL, specially during the night shift, they basically throw food out the windows, and they don’t care about providing great customer service!!!. Go spend your money somewhere else!!!. SHAME on you Raising Cane’s!!!....
Read moreI come to this location very frequently. I normally come late at night and even near closing. They have never closed early on us like some other restaurants do. The crew is always nice and upbeat with smiles on their faces. The quality of the food is very consistent and there rarely is a problem. The crew and managers know us by name and when we come through we are taken care of really well, and they know ahead of time when we order to start making fries with no salt early. We customize our order every time we visit, and very few mishaps happen. This location is on the ball! Rachel is a great manager that takes care of us well, she does an A+ job. The other managers are great too, and they take care of us just as well! When the fingers are all small they make sure the weight is right and they make sure we don't leave with a few tiny, dried out fingers. I wouldn't come here as often if it wasn't for the great service and the great job the managers and team does. I rarely feel compelled to leave such a kind review, but at this location I always leave kind surveys from the receipts, and coming on Google to share the good experience / review of this location is the good karma this team deserves. I hope corporate reads these reviews - this location is really top notch and the crew really deserves the best treatment from the company. In fact, since this location opened up I've been coming here and it has always been consistent and well. This team seriously...
