Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in Jersey Village

Not: I’m a fan of Shipley’s donuts so my 5 star review is on this specific location in terms of tastiness & freshness of the food, cleanliness (inside and outside) and friendliness of the staff.

They do have a few tables and chairs, so if you’d like to stay and eat you can. I came on a Saturday morning around 10:30 AM and there wasn’t a line to wait in and the drive-through only had one car in it.

The person that was taking care of me was very supportive as we ordered: *3 sausage & cheese kolaches *1 sausage & cheese w/ jalapeño kolache *BOLD kolache *1 ham & cheese kolache *6 assorted donuts (we picked) *1 apple fritter

So, despite the employee having to walk back-and-forth as we made these individual orders, she was smiling and very pleasant

Very clean location inside and out which can be difficult because this Shipleys donuts shares the parking lot with about 10 other businesses.

Now if anybody is new to Shipley experience, kolaches’ sausage is really more like a hot dog, and the ham is a deli slice of ham, rolled up and placed into the middle of this...

Have been a customer here a long time. Everyone here works with a smile and you can tell they enjoy serving the community. Stopped in on Friday 5/31. Well lo and behold my debit card did not work. It expired. Now I preface this by saying I have been a long-time customer, but I wanted to share this experience with You. They still gave me my order - as I bring Donuts in for my Staff and customers every Friday. Of course I came back with the $ the next day. But it goes to show you, if you build a relationship with people, show appreciation when they are serving you ( service tip, thank you and a smile go a long way) when You need them they will be there for you with gratitude. Shipley's has always been one of my favorite donut shops. Except this one here; i was approached rudely. The young lady was very pushy and not patient. Overall the straw that broke the camels back was when i asked if they had military discount she laughed and said I DONT KNOW and continued to charge me. I stopped her and said can u find out... she went towards the back and midway she came came back and just charged me out... she LAUGHED AND SAID NO WE DONT. A poor choice of actions have lead me to no longer support or contribute to shipleys...
