El Grand Taco — Restaurant in Jersey Village

I truly support any culture or small business that’s trying to make it . With that being said, i stop here 2-3/5 days of the week before work for breakfast and i ALWAYS get the same order, somehow the prices is always different once i pull off. Today i finally decide to address it before leaving and trust me they know EXACTLY what they doing . Adding tips to peoples order on their OWN. Atleast give me that option and i most certainly would with good service ! To make matters worst, when i got all the way home and started eating i notice the order was wrong. I called, they blamed me when i literally have the same order .. I brought back , she examined to see how much was gone to determine how she was exchange the order instead of customer focused. We overcharged her on purpose and then she had to drive all the way back up here. PLEASE , it’s a million taco trucks around the way . don’t support someone who’s stealing from customers nor honor...

It has been around for several years now. It gives me nostalgia going back and the food taste just as good as it did back in the day. I highly recommend this place for your taco truck food needs. I got the torta and an elote, while my husband got 3 tacos with lettuce and tomato. For him its hard to get full lol but he got full on just 3 tacos! They are a good size and the meat is sooo good. We love the slight crunch yet soft fajita. The tortillas were the best we have had in a while. The torta was awesome and filled perfectly. Not to little or to much. The salsa verde was just as I remembered and had a great spice level. The bread had a great crunch on the outside. The elote had a little bit to much juice at the bottom of the cup, but a little emptying the cup out would fix it. It was probably from the steam anyways 😜 over all just a good experience when it came...

They raised the price of their items by 40%, they didn’t mention that when I placed my order over the phone. $11 for four tacos seems pretty steep when I can go to Taco Bell around the corner and buy several items there for $1 each. 4 tacos for $11 is pretty outrageous, I’m not eating at torchy’s tacos or anything like that, I’m at a taco truck. They say where you spend your money is like a vote for that business so I’ll have to find another location that isn’t gouging their customers and taking advantage of them. Over the past year they’ve raised their prices 85%, going from $1.50 all the way to $2.75 now.
