My daughter and I stopped in at CAMPUS CAFE in John's Creek, GA, looking for a quick tasty bite to eat. Well, we got what we were looking for and much more. Satish Mudaliar is not only the chef, he is the owner. Satish Mudaliar treated us as if we were walking in his personal home for a special occasion. He greeted us with a BIG SMILE and immediately asked "what would we like him to prepare for us." What a unique and warm way to welcome your patrons. CAMPUS CAFE serves Indian and American dishes. Being the chef, Satish Mudaliar will prepare the food of your choice to your taste; if you want your Indian dish mild, he will make it mild, and if you want you dish medium spicy or very spicy, he got you covered. Satish Mudaliar is a professional owner and very approachable; his establishment is very clean and organized. Now, about his dishes, they are served heat hot to the table and he provides hefty portions. The flavors in his dishes are pleasing to the palet, and tastes absolutely amazing. If you live in the John's Creek area, or visiting the area, or don't mind taking a drive to explore a restaurant where the owner is also the chef and the dishes are phenomenal, satisfying, and worth the visit, then go eat at CAMPUS CAFE, Satish Mudaliar(Chef./Owner), 9770 Medlock Bridge Road, John's Creek, GA 30097. Remember to bring your friends and family members and co-workers to enjoy the best service in John's Creek and some of the most delicious, palet satisfying Indian and...
Read moreI’ve lived in St. Ives for 10 years. Always knew about this place, and yet I always ignored it as long as I’ve lived over here…..until yesterday. The place is small but super cozy, and the owner is a really nice guy who was working pretty much as a one-man show the entire time. There was another guy in the back that we glimpsed a couple times, but overall the owner was the main one taking the orders AND cooking all the food. We ordered a lot, including a chicken biryani and a chicken karahi curry, both of which were super flavorful and clearly very fresh (we literally watched him cook almost everything from scratch right in front of us). There was a small blunder when I received a steak Philly as opposed to a chicken Philly (we don’t eat beef), but he was so apologetic and gracious about the mistake and made me a new one right away. (which was also delicious, especially with the “desi style” seasoning I ordered) The man was working so hard that we almost felt bad asking him for things, but he was happy to help every time. I feel bad that all this time I’ve missed out on such a delightful neighborhood Indian spot, since I would have definitely been supporting him a lot longer. But needless to say, it’s always better late than never, and it definitely won’t be the last time I...
Read moreI would have never thought that an INDO-AMERICAN place in Johns Creek would have one of my now favorite phillycheesteaks I've tried so far, CAMPUS CAFE is now one of them!! I guess I shouldn't be surprised considering Indian food is typically very tasty. The steak itself was extremely flavorful and juicy, not dry at all with enough cheese. The bread was thinner than the other locations I've tried lately so you didn't have to chew on a bunch of bread while eating. The fries are perfectly fried and crispy with an awesome seasoned flavor as well. The fries feel like they are double fried, they were that good. This phillycheesteak with fries and a cold and refreshing COCA-COLA set me back about $13 but it was well worth it. The inside is very nice with a relaxing atmosphere. The parking outside will never be a problem with plenty of parking spots. I thought I was about to have the PERFECT dining experience when I realized there was a SARA'S DONUTS next door (some of my favorite donuts) but unfortunately they were closed for the day 😒 On to the next one!!!
Edit: For a few years now my go to is always the following... BUTTER CHICKEN, 2 ORDERS OF NAM and RICE. It's AMAZING!!...
