Subway — Restaurant in Johns Creek

I know...I know, it's a Subway. Slightly out of style, more in line with fast-food than healthy alternative, Subway has somehow been relegated to the backseat as more fulfilling options have begun to creep up. And to say that I disagree with the demotion would be a lie, as Subway really lost their footing in doing away with the five dollar footlong and with not exercising any level of change to keep up with the changing times.

And this Subway location is really no different than any other Subway, it just is. And that's really the best explanation for Subway, It Just Is, and there's nothing inherently wrong with that, but taste palates evolve and consumers shift focus easily. The food is mediocre, bland, but it gets the job done. The service is nice, but again, simply gets the job done. The interior is designed with a quasi-antique feel, again it's not a bad thing, but it just doesn't spark, it doesn't force any feelings or evoke an emotion, it just is.

This is a convenient location to pick up a quick dinner, because my daughter has practice across the street. However, this was the first and will be the last visit.

The owner/employee working was incredibly rude and indifferent. He was speaking with someone over his Bluetooth the entire time, so we spent most of the visit uncertain if he was addressing us or the individual on the other end. We repeated ourselves numerous times, because he continued to pause making our sandwiches to continue his call.

We thanked him at least a couple of times, and he never thanked us for our business once.

I completely understand why a customer facing role can be frustrating. Some customers are irrational. However, we left no reasons for this individual to provide such...

This Subway is the worst location I have ever been to. The manager is extremely unprofessional and the new staff that they have hired are incompetent. Luckily there are other great locations close to me. I am fortunate to have the ability to visit other stores that have great service. I will never be back to this location. This manager has argued with me over promotions and has tried to refuse to honor them. His staff made my family 6 subs tonight and messed up every one of them. I attempted to return them and they argued with me and when they called the manager he refused to remake the sandwiches and even denied me a refund. Please spare yourself a horrible experience and avoid this location...
