Very cute store packed in a lot and could easily be missed, and the maps actually took me to the wrong spot at first.
The store wasnāt busy when my friend and I went on a late Thursday afternoon. It was just one man behind the counter. He was very kind and when I asked if they had taro slush he said not yet, but they were considering adding it in the future. He said he could still try to make me one and he did. He ended up being the owner and said he pretty much works alone all day. My friend ordered the brown sugar milk tea and she said it was one of the better ones sheās had and was impressed. I wish mine had more of the taro flavor and wasnāt as icy/watery, but considering it was the first one he made, I was satisfied. The tapioca didnāt have much flavor in terms of sweetness or anything but it gave some texture.
The ambiance is nice and the chairs are so cute and comfortable to sit on. I was able to do my school work without being disturbed. Also, the wifi only has one capital letter for future confusion. Thereās a giant wall with glowing lights and cute animals throughout. Itās also open later than the other shops around. There was only one unisex bathroom stall, but it was clean.
I would come back in the future if they officially added taro slush or I would order something else. Best of luck to the owners and good job on being open for 4 months now! Wish you all the success and hope others come check...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe tea was perfectly serviceable. Their signature milk tea was quite acceptable and would do the job. However, their "large" size is 16 ounces in a misleading tall, narrow cup. Tapioca pearls were also an upcharge of $1, even for basic milk tea. I paid more than $8 for a drink that I could have gotten for $5 from a bakery, and the quality was about the same.
I was aware of the cute aesthetic but I didn't think that literally 100% of the seating was novelty items. Every single chair is maybe 18" off the ground, with some having no back support at all, and the rest having the back support of a bean bag-- I'd never bring a friend with any kind of injury or disability into this store, and they didn't look like they'd support more than maybe 200 pounds each. Additionally, each chair was crammed around the tables, so wheelchair users are not welcome. The high countertop would also prevent them from getting their drinks without an employee having to bring it out.
Finally, the drink cup was marked type 5 plastic which my and most other districts do not recycle.
If all you're looking for is cute photos, they probably won't kick you out for not buying anything if they're not busy, but I can't think of a reason to come here for anything more than the novelty when the Duluth and Johns Creek are packed with asian bakeries and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTo all my milk tea fanatics, you guys need to run don't walk.. RUN to this place. The place is small but it's super pretty; from the paw print chair to the beautiful decor, this place is a win win. My sister and I discovered this place through REEL and we went here on a Sunday night. The place was empty but they do have a lot of Togos; it was raining a lot outside maybe that's why they're not as busy. They have a really nice person in the front but we went to the kiosk instead since we like to know what we're ordering.
There was a little incident at the kiosk where it was restarting our orders so we not knowing ordered 2 of the same drinks. We got 2 ROASTED OOLONG TEA, DURIAN WITH SAGO, MOCHI MILK TEA, STRAWBERRY PAW MOUSSE AND THE BROWN SUGAR PUDDING. All the drinks was really good and their mousse was good, but we can skip the brown sugar pudding. The consistency was a little off for us.
Like I said in the beginning, the place is super pretty and they have an illusion glass wall for you to take picture. All of their furniture is paw inspired and their walls are filled with cats/dogs pictures. The two people that was there make drinks very fast. Their bathroom was clean and the place is very chill while we enjoying the rain too. I do highly recommend this little tea shop to all my paws and teas lovers.
Until next...
