Happened Saturday Sept 21 Bought some baby gear the week prior they had a promotion for buy $100 get $20 gift card. Last week week they ran a promotion of buy $100 get $30 giftcard. Simple fix. they can either issue a $10 giftcard for the difference or return previous product and run it again with the $30 giftcard. very simple process which many other targets have done before. even the 1800 customer support line said to go in and ask for the difference of $10 and they would do it. so Saturday Sept 21, i go into store after speaking to Carrie from 1800 number. i speak to one customer service rep.. she doesn't speak English well and i figured she didn't understand or she was new since she didn't seem to know what she was doing. I asked to speak to someone else (manager if on duty) and they call Mary (who claims to be a manager). She starts off telling me to be quiet so the person behind the register can talk.. Mary doesnt seem to understand so I again explain my situation and again Mary has a hard time comprehending the situation. I told her i spoke to customer support and even have a ref #. Mary again shoots me down and says she has never heard of Target doing this. I explained this happened before and the CS rep usually can fix the issue with a couple of key strokes.. again she says she has never done this and it isn't Target policy (the policies behind her state that they honor price match and even match promotions). I get tired of arguing with her at this point... apparently she does not understand Target policies or listen to customers. I later drove by another location and while shopping there I asked their Customer Service desk if they have heard this request before. The Customer Service rep says she hears this all the time and checks my receipt and issues a $10 giftcard on the spot. Read moreI am having to write my review here for the AT&T service inside of this store. Claire told me that I qualified for the free S7. She could not find my husband and my phones on the list so she just entered them as S7's instead of the J7's without our knowledge. I only found this out because I received a text that said I no longer qualified for the promotion. This prompted me to contact AT&T directly. I spoke with the manager Quin, after much confusion. This is when I found out what actually happened. So I was lied to and tricked into purchasing a phone that I was told would be free. I actually received the credit that Claire told us we would get until our trade in phones were processed through the system. If I had known that this was the case from the beginning I never would have purchased the phones. It doesn't make sense to lie to a customer just to make a sell. I am very upset by this deceit and I feel that the original deal should be honored. In fact corporate AT&T informed me that they must stand behind the deal because we were deceived and Claire falsified documentation. Read moreBad customer service and management. I bought a Turbo Tax from the Target store and decided to return it. When I returned the Turbo tax and I also returned the 5 dollar gift card which I got it when I bought the Turbo tax. The employee returned 44.95 to me. I told him it's wrong because I bought it for 49.95. He said he couldn't do nothing. I left the store and realized I should not give the 5 dollar gift card to him. I returned to the store and told him. He didn't say anything and looked like he was mad. He grabbed the gift card from the trash can (He must throw it to) and tried to give it to me. I said to him I could not accept the card from the trash can. He told the other female employee to talk to me. The female employee understood what I meant. She said she couldn't do nothing about the card. I have to have the card from the trash can. They couldn't give me a new card. They treated customer like a garbage. The female employee even told me that the male employee was the store manager. The store manager even didn't know what they were doing.
