The Patio Cafe & Bakery — Restaurant in Johns Creek

I had been coming here for many years. Over the past few years, it seems like the hours keep changing. We went by one time and it just said they weren't going to be open a few days...odd. The time on the storefront says two different times depending on what side of the building you are looking at!

Their cakes are not like they used to be and are dense, dry and do not taste good. The chocolate frosting is really bad. I wanted a cake of a shower and apparently they do no decorating at all .

What they call their "Petite Fours" are just a piece of cake with frosting on top and they are huge! They definitely are not Petite Fours!

I wanted cake pops for an event and apparently they can't even use a different color of frosting...they only offered a different color sprinkle...not what I wanted for a nice baby shower!

Their food has gone down hill and I can make most of it at home with slapping a piece of bread, lettuce, tomato, avocado and turkey with some fruit and dip. The muffins are always extremely dried out!!! The chicken salad....throw some lettuce with some chicken salad on top and call it a day! Absolutely nothing special about this place anymore! The quality has just gone hill so much!

If you are looking for an amazing bakery and a great place for sandwiches look no further. You can find it right at The Patio beside the Target in Duluth. I have gone to the Patio for lunch twice. The Patio is consistently great. Upon entering this establishment you are made feel welcome by the staff. They have an amazing selection of soups, sandwiches, salads and an amazing bakery. The Patio has plenty of seating indoors and outside. The restaurant is very clean and has clean restrooms also. It should be noted I am from Dublin, Ireland originally have traveled all over the world with the United States Marine Corps. Also traveled all over the United States. I definitely rank The Patio very high on my list for great sandwiches!! The Philly cheesesteak is absolutely delicious!!! You won’t leave here disappointed. What a most wonderful restaurant this is!!! The staff who work here are very cordial, amicable, and really exhibit total quality service in helping their customers. . The sandwiches served in the cafe whether it be hot or cold are absolutely delicious. I enjoy the grilled chicken sandwich or the ham sandwich. So yummy! The plethora of homemade treats that they sell here are totally scrumptious. It's almost like stepping into a Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory. The homemade cookies, sandtarts, coca cola cake, and petit fours are so very good! If you have a wife or girlfriend who you would like to get on their best side, then I would totally advise bringing home some treats for them!
