Capone's — Restaurant in Johnson City

Staff are great the bartenders are awesome. The bouncers do all they can to keep peace. Honestly since the Electric Cowboy has closed down I think that the rowdy crowd has gone to this location. The last time that my wife and I went there. I was trying to get my wife out people started shoving me then they started shoving my wife which inside me to trying to shove them away to get my wife out! After I left my friend who I was there with told me that there was gunshots going off and he got his girlfriend out of there! We will not be going back to Capone's unless it is with someone who is said that the crowd has settled down! All the idiots who have been going there who believe that they have been wronged because you walked past them to try to get out of there and then are accepting to the people who then fire their guns at the people who are trying to safely leave I find to be ridiculous! The Johnson City police who I asked for a safe escort to our vehicle seemed uncaring and it was after that that the gun shots were fired... obviously keeping me with the opinion that the Johnson City Police do not care about our personal safety...

IT happened this past Saturday! 12/1/2018.... I have two witnesses besides my wife and myself! I can share pictures of the female assailants heading towards the parking lot following us if tou want. I could also if you so desire share the pictures of the bruises and scrapes from where I was attacked buy Five Guys inside the club after the woman who pushed me started screaming that I attacked her. My wife was in between her and I after she shoved me and there would be no way for me to attack her as my friend and his girlfriend gone between us after that. I can add more information about this "supposed" happening if you wish. Again no complaints about your staff who did all that they could in my opinion! Very disappointed in how I have seen the crowd in attendance change over the past 5 years! I have added pictures twice of the assailants they've been taken down both times. Is now been 2 months since this quote supposedly happened. And still no response from the owner who questioned the validity of...

I attended the Pop Evil Concert last night. I came back in to get my friend when I was sexually accosted by some big drunk neanderthal. Him and his little Squad wouldn't leave me alone I was screaming and yelling at them and had shoved the big guy who grabbed my chest into the bar. I am so disappointed that no security, no staff, no bartender, no customers or fans stepped into help me until my friend showed up and saw i was trying to get away from the ssituation but the men were not hearing my yelling or screaming and he had to yell for them to back off.

Then finally a security or staff walked up and was dealing with those guys and I was finally able to walk by them so I leave Capone's. I will never come back to Capone's Not only was the place packed like sardines there was hardly any security there.

I am not sure if security was thinned out, couldn't see them, they didn't show up for work, either someone wasn't doing their job or you just didn't have enough security to handle things. This situation should not have escalated to the extent it did, your staff should have been on top of my safety and wellbeing. I am still furious. I am not sure if I am more angry with the drunk or your place of business for not being on top of things and watching out for me because had I punched him or his friends or physically defended myself i could have went to jail because i had been drinking.

I have lived in Johnson City all of my life. I am a senior student at ETSU University. Many of my friends as well as myself enjoy going out to wind down from school. However, Capones is somewhere I protest for one to visit. I do enjoy the atmosphere when inside however the security/doormen are incompetent and rude racists. CAPONES IS RACIST. They always give the black people some bs excuse about why they can not get it (there clothes are too baggy, etc.) Others as well as myself have been turned down wearing clothes that is less baggy than the workers and even most of the club goers for the evening. I even saw one black individual tell the bouncer at Capones that he knows the real reason and he pointed to his skin. The bouncer then stated that everybody already knew this real reason. It is truly sad. If you do not believe this, drive by Capones at about 2 AM-3AM. You will find a extremely large sum of black people outside. No matter their bs excuse CAPONES IS RACISM ALIVE AND WELL. I do not approve of this...
