So, I want start by saying I LOVE Logan's hands down! It is mine and my families favorite resturant! But, unfortunately our last three visits in the past two months things have just been very, very disappointing! The straw that broke the camels back was our last visit! First off, my husband and I had a date night and I ordered the 6 0Z filet MR, my husband had the rack of ribs, and we had several alcoholic beverages ( bc the wait was so long) another rack of ribs and potatoe soup TOGO. Since we only recieved two rolls at the table ( which I had to request) I asked for an extra roll in the TOGO order bc I only received one. I was told if I wanted any more I had to pay for six or twelve?! What! Are you kidding me! My entire order is $109 and you want me to PAY for an extra roll! They said the NEW MANGER IS CRACKING DOWN ON COST!! HEY NEW MANAGER HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?!?! When we finally received our food my filet was under cooked as in very, very rare and smelled funny. At first I thought it was bc it was so rare. I told the waitress and she offered to cook it more but couldn't replace it bc they were out of 6oz filets! Now, I will say we came an hour before closing on a Sat. So, I understood and I wanted the filet badly but after already waiting 30 min. on a rare steak and a rack of ribs I said NO bc we had to catch a movie. Plus, I thought I could just cook it more at home and it would be fine bc i wanted it Med. rare anyways. When I got home and warmed up my filet it stunk up my entire house! It literally smelled like butt! No joke! So the one thing I was so excited to eat I couldnt eat! I literally cried bc I love the filets! When I order a filet it is like a special occasion thing for me! Well, then I take out the potatoe soup and it was in a small plastic container that I kid you not would not even be a CUP size in Logan's standards! It was not worth what I paid for it! When I called to let them know about it the next day they said I had to bring this stinking steak back to them before they would replace it! I just can't even nor would I ever put that in my car to drive 30min. to bring back a steak that I had a receipt for...just NO! NO! THAT IS CRAZY AND JUST ABSURD! I just cant believe this and I know something is different! I have been a loyal customer for 17yrs. and I NEVER NEVER had a bad steak or anything bad to say EVER! If I did have an issue it was something small, it was fixed immediately, kindly and graciously! Honestly, the only reason I am saying something now is bc this needs to be fixed and it is bad for business! You have to take care of your customers bc we are the ones that keep the lights on and pays the salaries. I have seen many managers come and go but this is just on a whole nother level! This is worse than when Don was there and he was super stickler about things but he made sure the customers were happy! I don't want my favorite restaurant to lose business bc it seems that the new manager is more interested in cutting corners and cost instead of making sure customers are satisfied! We come for the amazing food getting our money's worth and people want to come back! Being stingy with the rolls is absolutely ridiculous! If you pay $7 for soup it needs to be bigger than a large dressing container and most of all you need to make sure the steaks are ALWAYS on point! They are cut fresh daily and I know the kitchen manager does his job and is the same person so I know that's not it. But, also is under the main managers instructions. If your cutting on rolls and soup of all things God only knows what your cutting on the main courses and the meat (especially the more expensive meat)! FYI the high meat is not to be used to cut COST! Those should be main priority on freshness! This is a steak restaurant right?! All employees are under your command and doing there job. This falls under Main Management PERIOD! That is the ONLY thing that has changed! So get it together bc so far it seems you have a lot to learn about customer service and satisfaction! For the rest of the Logan's team much...
Read moreI have tried to resolve this problem since January. And cannot. So now I have decided to leave a Google review. I planned a dinner with a group of people and decided we would go to Logan’s. One of the people in my group called to set a reservation and was charged a $50 deposit. He paid in this deposit. Now the night that I brought my people in there, there was about 38 people total. It was less than 20° outside, so there was nobody in the whole restaurant except for two other couples in my group. They tacked on a huge gratuity since we were such a large group. I was fine with that. I ended up paying for everybody’s dinner, but I told them I could not pay for the alcohol. So all the people with me paid for their drinks. Separately, they were also charged even more because we were a group. The people I was with also tipped. There were only two waitresses so the food was very slow getting out, but we were fine with that because we are such a large group. After paying the entire bill, we realized that the $50 was not refunded to the guy that gave the $50. So we stood there with the manager for 30 minutes arguing over this because they said they cannot give the $50 back because he did not have a bill. Finally, the manager said they would let corporate call me and fix this problem. The next day the district manager did call my cell phone and told me that he would make sure That the $50 was refunded. This was in January. Since then, I have been in contact with the restaurant four or five times trying to find out when he would get his money. They finally told me that the refund was given back to him on his debit card back in January. Which was not true, the guy that was with me said he has still not got the refund. It’s only $50. It’s not that big of a deal. But I think they are missing the big picture here, we bring 38 people to a restaurant on a Thursday night When they are slow. And then not only do we get charged too much money, we also have to pay a deposit to eat there. I will make sure that our group never goes there again. We go somewhere different in every month, but this has left a bad taste in everybody’s mouth, no pun intended. All we asked for was his $50 returned. I shouldn’t have to be the middleman and call the restaurant over and over and over. You guys need to wake up, and show a little pride and what you do and who you work for. The reason we went to you guys to begin with is because of the reputation and the great food and service that you provide. This is now gone. After spending $900 on dinner, not counting all of the drinks, and all of the tips, you guys would rather lose this...
Read moreWe eat here often and typically have a decent experience mostly worth the price. Lately we have been noticing a downward tendency on quality of food and the overall restaurant environment regarding less cleanliness and louder music. Tonight was the worst. We noticed when we entered the restaurant that the music was much louder than typical. It was quite busy being Valentine's Day, but our wait was only about 10 minutes. We were seated in the "patio" area with the doors closed but it was still quite cold. The acoustics there with the doors closed were horrible with the loud music and screaming children. The waitress was friendly and attentive so this review is NOT intended to reflect on her! When our food came my husband found a hair in his salad but did not balk because he had a full white beard and the hair was white, so it "could" have been his. However, the grilled chicken was cold and dry like it was yesterday's leftover. More like jerky! Then we started smelling cigarette smoke and looked over to the other somewhat separate part of the patio to see three men smoking. There are garage doors separating these two areas of the patio that do little to nothing to keep the smoke out so they may as well have been standing right next to us. Others in our area also noticed the smoke stink and said they could see an ashtray on one of the tables on the side where the men were smoking. To make matters worse, the clear curtains were also pulled down on that side which did not allow the smoke to escape as it would when the patio is fully open. So we got smoked out. That was the last straw and we just quit eating and asked for the check. The waitress noticed my husband's salad was barely touched and asked if it was OK. We tend to just swallow bad dining experiences (pun intended) and just stop going to that restaurant but it was a bad to worse to worst experience tonight so I'm sharing here. The waitress adjusted our bill so she did what she could, and we came straight home and washed our clothes and showered to get rid of the cigarette smells. I have bad reactions to cigarette smoke all my life and typically get a Migraine almost instantly as I did tonight. We recalled we have been smelling cigarettes the last few times we visited Logan's so now we have an explanation. We are typically never seated anywhere near the bar, but tonight was an exception and our experience suffered greatly. We decided we will not be going back to Logan's and thought you might like to be...
